Do you hold a grudge?

Inspired by the "Do you admit to your own mistakes?" thread. If somebody pisses me off and doesn't apologize (on rare occasions even if they do) I can stay angry with them for a while. Do you guys hold a grudge?

Dude Guadalupe 04-09-2009 03:46 AM

Wasn't this already a thread?

I hold many grudges. As much as I'd like to, I just can't let shit go.

Rayne 04-09-2009 03:57 AM

Yes

It burns white hot, and reminds me not to trust someone

Referring to the 'Do you admit your mistakes?' thread - I don't make the same mistake twice...Capiche?

Maybe... get over it. ;)

(I think it might have been a forgiveness thread, this is a wee bit different. Sometimes somebody will do something that makes me mad, not necessarily something to wrong me, and I still stay angry with them for weeks.)

Yes.

I am not a "forgive and forget" guy. If I hold a grudge, its usually forever.

And those around me know it.

I CAAAAAAAN'T!!!!!!!!!!

I'm over it.:D

hammerfan 04-09-2009 04:10 AM

It depends on what the transgression is. I can let go of petty shit. If it's something major, probably not, and you'll be on my shitlist forever.

X¤MurderDoll¤X 04-09-2009 04:13 AM

I'll forgive, but I will never ever forget.

Some of my enemies have become my friends, I'll never forget what made them my enemies in the first place though.

newb 04-09-2009 04:45 AM

I do not hold a grudge.

Yeah, I do.
When it's warranted.

because i was married - thus unavailable .. despite your beauty and charm ? :D

urgeok2 04-09-2009 05:56 AM

I hold a grudge only when someone has proven time and time again that they are still willing and able to continue the actions that made me mad in the first place.

i am willing to forgive and forget when it's heartfelt - everyone admits the mistake or understanding - and then we get along with life.

but when someone just continues to exhibit the same bullshit behavior over and over again especially after insincere apologies... then fuck 'em.

im my mind they are done. i guess thats a grudge.

i never claimed to be jesus christ.

scouse mac 04-09-2009 08:36 AM

If Im wronged and someone apologizes then Im perfectly happy to let it go.

Its too much hassle to hold a grudge for a long time unless its some real unforgivable shit.

When it comes to grudges: women forgive but never forget, men forget but never forgive

fortunato 04-09-2009 03:08 PM

On rare occasions I can hold a grudge, but most of the time I either stop caring after awhile, or forget about it completely.

I find it's easier to dislike people than put the effort into figuring out why their worth my time. So to write somebody off as a twit and avoid dealing with them is simple.
