And guess.

Damn, it really resembles some sort of Bioshock movie or advertisement. Young girls that look similar, a doll made with a head to represent a big helmet, a drill for a hand, and wearing heavy boots, the "kidnappers" appear to be coming from the sea...

I'll be damned if that doll doesn't look like a Big Daddy.

scouse mac 03-11-2009 10:12 AM

Five pins in its baseball head mean anything?

Its not thimblescrewarm baseball face is it? Cos he's a bugger for stealing shit

I also kept the sound down in case it was one of those pop out scream thingys

missmacabre 03-11-2009 10:31 AM

Yeah definately a BioShock ad. Maybe for the new game. I think a movie adaptation would be really cool too.

scouse mac 03-11-2009 10:38 AM

Now its been pointed out I can see it, but never would have got myself.

Interesting way to advertise something

fortunato 03-11-2009 10:46 AM

Yeah, it definitely has to be for the second game.

It is definitely the new game, but there is a film in progress.

Industry rumors after the game's release suggested a film adaptation of the game would be made, utilizing similar green screen filming techniques as in the movie 300 to recreate the environments of Rapture. On May 9, 2008, Take Two announced a deal with Universal Studios to produce a BioShock movie, to be directed by Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Ring) and written by John Logan (Gladiator, The Aviator, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street). Universal currently plans to release the film in the summer of 2010.

See that's exciting. bioshock is actually a really great story and I loved the ending. Seeing that on screen would be awesome.

Has anyone else seen pictures of the Big Sisters? The site V linked to mentioned skinny monsters stealing little girls. Could be them?

I've never actually played Bioshock, but I have heard really good things about it.

Zero 03-11-2009 03:33 PM

Agreed. I loved it. I thought that there were parts that dragged and that the ending was a bit contrived, but the imagery was haunting and horrifying.

I'm agreeing with the chimp on this one. SH had some memorable scenes, but I wasn't all that impressed with the film.
