It's Another Friday the 13th
 

Hey Hdc. Today is yet another Friday the 13th. I know it's not an official holiday, but being that this is a horror-fan site, I was wondering whether or not there are any special rituals you do on days like this--whether it includes scaring the superstititious people or not. Share your thoughts. :)

I usually get together with a couple of friends and watch a few Friday the 13th movies. Watched 1, 2, and 3 this 13th, and since next month is another Friday the 13th I'm probably going to watch a few more.

I used to watch the Friday the 13th marathon when it was on tv but I don't have cable now.

A few Friday the 13th movies? How many are there? :confused: Can you recommend a few to me?

But yep it is.

There are ten, eleven if you count Freddy vs. Jason. The best in the series are the first, third, fourth and sixth if you ask me but you should probably check all
of them out.

Generally I shoot a few cats in the nieghbourhood, gut them throw thier inners on the winshields of passing cars. Make some lemonade and share it with the nieghbours. And end up watching American Idol repeats.

Wow? Shooting cats. A few of my uncles place firecrackers in the the rectums of cats and watch them explode.....:eek:


but i guess shooting and gutting them is equally shocking and cool.:confused:

We watched the first Friday the 13th movie, then the boys decided they were sick of the slashers.
They hadn't seen Diary of the Dead or 30 Days of Night.
After that I took my tired ass to bed.

It was a good night.

We're going to try to watch between 1 & 5 horror movies every night until the Friday the 13th next month, and one or two of them a week will be a Friday the 13th movie.

I'm going to see if I can get ahold of the new My Bloody Valentine movie for tonight.
Does any one know if it's any good?
All I've heard is that it's gory...

Or, if my gift is too awesome, we may just excuse tonight from the marathon. ;)

Oh, none taken. I felt the same way...though I cried for the most part on the thought of that---but yeah I'm with you...one of my neighbors use to tease me about taking my turtle and making soup out of her too.

I'd like to have an aquarium of sorts one day.
