The Official HDC Package 2.0
 

Ok. I'm tired of people complaining about THE PACKAGE. It's a really neat idea and I've decided to start a NEW one.

Not to belittle The Official HDC Package 1.0, of course! Maybe the NEW one will force it from its trappings and encourage its release... And then maybe the two could pass in the night!!

So here we go...............



I've got some DVD duplicates (happens when you move in with someone) and some other random stuff that I found when I cleaned out my room at my mom's house.

Might be cool, might not be.

I'll start a NEW package.

WHO WANTS IT?!?!?!?!

Seriously - PM me (confirmation of interest as well as mailing address).

I'll take your names down in the order which I received them.

DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY THE 16TH.

Once I have your names, I'll publish them in order in this thread (NOTE: Your address will NOT be published on the forum). Example:

1. Urge
2. Newb
3. Jenna
4. Freak
5. Neverending

If that was the order, I'd send the package to Urge, he'd send it to Newb who'd send it to Jenna who'd send it to Freak, who'd send it to Neverending, who would then send it back to ME.

Then I'll start over again.

When you get the package, take what you want and then pass it on to the next person. The package will contain a growing list of items. When you get the package, list what you added to it, so that the next person knows whose is what. The package will also contain a list of names and addresses so you know who the next stop is.

If you want in, let me know!!! PM ME BY EOD FRIDAY THE 16TH!!!

It's coming to me first, so whoever wants it next that will actually pass it on, let me know.

I'm not considering oversea orders right now, simply because I want to try to get this thing moving for a bit. I'll do Canadia though.

No offense to our overseas friends. If we get it moving and I get it back, I'll happily do it then.

If you are on the list for package 1.0, you are still on that list.

This is for people who are either sick of waiting or didn't get a chance to be a part of the first package.

NO USURPING. Just think of it as getting TWO packages if you're on both lists. :D

Confidentiality Question
 

Just something to think about HDC Package 2.0 Receivers:

My original intent was to get everyone's name and address, make a list and put that list in the box (that means that you will see everyone's name and address on the list - not just the person that you are sending the package to).

Are you comfortable with me having a name/address list in the box?

OR

Would you prefer that I keep the name and addresses to myself only and when someone gets the package, they will PM me and I will give them the address of the next package person?

The only reason why I suggested the former is that I figured it might be easier than using me as a touch base person.

HOWEVER, if you guys are more comfortable with the latter, then please let me know.

No rush. I'll plan on sending out the package on Saturday or Monday, so you have time to think about it. Personally, I'm fine either way.

Either way is fine with me.

I'll be shipping the package to ferret then, pending my glorious debut in HDC: Corpse in Orbit;)

I seem to have missed out a vital word in that sentence... "Gore" .....

Meaning, yes, this would be a third package.

I think the second option might be a bit safer. You never can tell entirely what people are like from the internet. I'm fine with both though. SO when is this package going off?

So I'll be keeping the addresses - When you receive the package, PM me and I'll give you the address of the person next in line.

I'm giving people until EOD Friday to opt-in to HDC PACKAGE 3.0... At that point I'm going to post our list with everyone's mailing country, to make sure that you are comfortable sending to that country. If people aren't comfortable with the list order, I can change it until we have an agreement.

If that goes quickly, I'll have the package sent out by Saturday or Monday. :D

Sending to bangladesh from here might be a bit much money for me. I wouldn't want this third package to be stumped.

I like the idea of it, but here's the thing that doesn't make sense to me...all that postage money to send the whole package from person to person to person.

I think a Secret Santa swap would be better! Yes i do! The people all group together and everyone says I'll send yoo a gift and I'll send yoo a gift, everone sends there gfts and it's all done in a week, ppl dont have to wait so long or spend all postage on sending all the things across town/across the globe over and over.

That makes sense too, but I prefer the original idea.

This way, everyone gets to put something in it - it's like your getting a package from the whole forum, not just one person :D

So the OFFICIAL order IS:

Tomorrow is actually a holiday in the US, so I'll be sending the package to Roshiq on Tuesday.

For confidentiality's sake, I'll be sending the recipient's address to their sender only.

I'll post a confirmation when the package is actually out and the estimated turnaround from the post office. :D

Just sent the PACKAGE Roshiq's way (cheaper than anticipated, too!!).

You should receive it in about a week. :)

I'd join but nobody ever continues the package after I send the damn thing out...

I was bit worried for the last couple of days that whether it somehow get lost on or not and that would be very disappointing for me.
Anyway, thanks Chrono, definitely I'll add some more items but after keeping your dvds for me!:D

Within a week the package will be posted for Flayed One...no worries.

Package 3.0 made it all the way to Bangladesh while package 1.0 & 2.0 are still floundering around the states.
