Just watched Dog Soldiers again
 

Ah man.... I forgot how awesome this film is... the classic standoff between the wolves and the small group of army squad guys on a training exercise. I reckon this has gota be one of the best werewolf films since American Werewolf in London. My fave scene has gota be the one where Spoon challenges a werewolf to a fist fight and gives the wolf a good pounding, and has a mad 'plate chucking' attack......." come un ave a go if ya think ya ard enuff!!!" lol :D

That movie was good...had some surprises in it and grabbed my attention so that is a plus..

I think that the Howling sequels had their good moments. Especially that one about the circus freaks and the vampire vs. the werewolf thing. I wish Wolfen would have had more sequels.

i still haven't seen this movie anywhere. i can't find it at any store.

just go buy it crazy clown... i have seen it at wal-mart...

and cheap too .I saw Dog Soldier DVD in the "budget section " for 9 bucks :) ..or cheaper still ...you can always wait til it comes back on the Sci - Fi channel and tape / Tvo it ;)

I just saw this movie for the first time today....It was pretty good. I especially like that one dude who kicks the wolfs tooth outta his mouth. It did seem to me that the movie was lacking something though. Im not sure if it was just a little slow at parts or if there wasnt enough back story or what. All in All I like the movie

it made plenty of money, ample reason for a sequel. you see the crap that get's made nowadays so you pray it get's left alone and not interfered with by studio bigwigs..

yeah i know im really getting tired of this crap and know there talking about a freddy vs jason sequal enough is enough already there finally getting horror a little more popular again like they did with scream and know there going to pull the same crap by pouring out bad sequals or bad ripoffs and its gonna end up with people putting even more steriotypes on the genre

This movie is one of the films at the top of my "must see list".

It wasn't that great, it looked like like they got the make up for the wolves at a face painting stand at a school fete

if you watch the dvd they show how the wolfs were made they were animatronic body suits i really liked them just my opinion.

Dog Soldiers ruled... When i first saw commercials for it on sci fi, i thought it was going to be a lame ass "Sci-fi original", which are all HORRIBLE. But it wasnt. I got a copy, and my lady and i watched it expecting to make fun of it through the whole thing. We loved it. I got her to watch it a second time the other day :)

it has some great one liners too:

"So Ryan, have you tried licking your own balls yet?"

"I hope I give you the shits, you fucking wimp."

"I am not breaking radio silence just cos' you lot got spooked by a dead flying fucking cow."

This is one of the few movies that DESERVES a sequel and if its done HALF as good as the first, it will still blow away 90% of other wolf movies....let alone other horror movies in general.....a fucking FINE film...

My favoirt thing about this movie was how cool the werewolfs look, good movie.

Great movie, watched on Sci-Fi channel, then saw it the next week at the local video store, and rented it.

I BOUGHT DOG SOLDIERS ON DVD ITS A REALLY GOOD FILM SEAN PERTWEE IS AN EXCELLENT ACTOR......

yeah i bought the vhs after seeing it on sci-fi and then found the dvd so i picked that up as well

I too am hoping for a sequal to this film, which isnt often, I just think this film deserves one

I realy think it should remain in Scotland and that the main characters that survived from the first should be in it. I'd like to see some sort of new expedition back there, where they go and hunt the wolves down, to try and uncover some more of the story on how they became wolves etc. Along the way, there should be the usual mayhem, maybe they get ambushed again, but under different circumstances, or maybe one of the soldiers becomes a wolf without them knowing and infiltrates the wolfs lair during the day time to see whats going on.....
