Favorite non-horror psycho

Who is your favorite nut from a non-horror flick?

My pick is Francis Begbie from trainspotting. Who would think that a scrawny little Scotsman could be scary?

Of course, it doesnt hurt that the same actor ate people in Ravenous

kpropain 02-26-2004 04:46 AM

The Joker in the first Batman, Nicholson pwned in that.

Private Pyle in Full Metal Jacket was a trip also.

there was a guy in a movie called "love and a 45" who had an eagle tattooed on his head and was addicted to pain killers he shot up out of this massive pneumatic needle thing - he was a total crazy fecker.

I think Clancy Brown's "The Kurgan" was a great villain in Highlander.

Some great choices here. I'm with ya the guy from LOVE & A .45 -- that character just rocked.

My favorite, though? Gary Oldman in LEON (THE PROFESSIONAL). That character was just *whacked*. :)

cheebacheeba 02-29-2004 04:27 AM

I enjoyed Nicholson in "as good as it gets" (true, he had a disorder, but he was pretty mental)
And thought the big blonde guy in "Deadman on campus" was a pretty funny, pretty insane motherfucker....
DeNiro in cape fear...anyone who can take such a whuppin' and come uot laughing is pretty nutz...

Arioch 02-29-2004 06:57 AM

Mickey and Mallory Knox from Natural Born Killers.

Ultimamk 02-29-2004 10:14 AM

Hannibal Lecter from Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs, and Hannibal. Anthony Hopkins is the greatest actor in the world.

Well i don't know if id go as far as to say hes the greatest in the world. He is surely one of the best. Ill agree he owns all 3 of those movies as well as many others (Titus i especially love, goddamn that movie is great).

Ultimamk 03-02-2004 12:47 PM

I suppose I went a tad bit far but he still is a legendary actor in my opinion.

Shoggoth 04-02-2004 08:52 AM

Alex (Malcom McDowell) from A Clockwork Orange. He was just really messed up and loved every minute of it. I do get to talk to a lot of really messed up people though, I work graveyard shift doing technical support. Some of them make movie psychos look like Willard Scott in comparison.

hellfire1 04-02-2004 09:29 AM

how could i forget twisted alex
