Favorite Hero in a horror flick
 

Okay, Who do you like best from the "good guys" in horror flicks. Of course, there will be many, many votes for Ash. I agree.

I've also always loved Ripley from the Alien movies.

And I have a soft spot for Jim in 28 days later. i have to respect any man who would pound a guys head into a brick wall 5 or 6 times, then jam his thumbs into his eye-sockets until he quits struggling :)

My favourite would be Lisa Wilcox as Alice in NOES 4 & 5 - she just got a better story arc than Nancy did.

Charlie in Fright Night was a great everyman - although William Ragsdale annoyed me in other things.

Barbara in the NOTLD remake put the original version of the character to shame.

Roger in Dawn Of The Dead was very cool - it was a shame he died!

Tommy Jarvis, even though played by three different actors.

I have to agree on Charlie in Fright Night also.

Alex in Final Destination and Ben from Night of the Living Dead are my all time favorites. It sucks that they both die!

I also liked Lance Henriksen as Bishop. I really am looking forward to seeing him again in that role in Alien vs Predator, and I've seen that he also has a part in Hellraiser: Hellworld. Well anyway Lance is cool in any role

Max von Sydow in Sleepless and The Excorsist not to forget.

Loomis is also one of my favorites, beciase I really enjoy the acting of Donald Pleasance, and ofcause just love it when he speaks the word evil :p

Uhh there is a lot, but better stop here. Well could also mention Pinhead, but that depends on how you see him. He may be a hero to some... if you find pain and suffering delightful ;)

Ash,, definatively..the best.. also other's mentioned in this post....plus... a few others include...Reggie..from Phantasm..,Brayker from Demon Knight...Loomis..from the Halloween movies.(allready mentioned..but what the hell:p ..and Tommy..from FT13TH(A new beginning.. and Jason lives )..and i also agree with Creighton Duke from Jason goes to Hell..

My definite number one as to go to Tommy Jarvis. The guys sure has balls.

Second to it would have to be Laurie Strode, same reason, but another emplacement (lol)

Third would go to Ash. Gotta love the character.

I guess 3 will be enough since the original thread asked for "Favorite Hero..." without and 's' to favorite.

But I will have to give a special mention to Ripley too... Just one more couldn't have armed anyone that bad...

Tommy is another good one, I liked him better as a kid though, Thom Matthews was kinda weak, but he was great in rotld.:)

I gotta go with Creighton Duke (Steven Williams) from Jason Goes To Hell. Why did he have to die?

Roy Scheider (Brody) from Jaws. I also like Father Damian from the Exorcist, his character was just so well-developed it's hard not to like him.

I didnt like him but thats just my opinion.
