Holidays at Last !
 

found out that i had a couple more days coming to me than i was expecting (i'm terrible at keeping track of this stuff - so after today - i'm off until the 5th.

so, after a particularily brutal year (there were some good parts - but definately one of the rougher years i've experienced in decades) I'm looking forward to a couple of weeks in which to recharge my batteries.

Tomorrow - xmas eve - we're heading downtown to see the play version of chitty chitty bang bang

Xmas day - i have a good friend coming over to spend xmas with us - who will be joined by my godson and his mom for xmas dinner

Boxing day - we go HD DVD hunting - try to find some deals on DVDs.

from the 27th - to jan 5 i will do nothing but relax at home with the family - goofing off, playing, watching movies, and walking on the treadmill.

I wont be working thursday (yay!) and saturday we are going to Santa's Village to freeze our asses off and watch Lily have a grand old time. Other than that, its business as usual, but that isnt so bad.

I'm off for a while myself and can't wait. Shopping, game playing, movie watching, drinking, and more await me...

Last day of work for me this week. Big x-mas eve party tomorrow night....Christmas at my brothers....good times will be had.

The staff had a strike yesterday protesting over the Insurance Reforms Bill introduced in the Parliament.

Which means, I have to work today.
