Hey, anyone got some childhood memories of this horror comedy? Me and my brother thought this was so cool. Never seen it since, anyone heard of any rumours about it coming to DVD? Can anyone recall where the monsters came from in the first place, did one of the kids do a spell or something?

yeah i remember monster squad-i watched it a long time ago but i remember one line:-
Kick him in the norks!!!

Yeah I saw this when it first came out, though it has been a long time. Would love to have it on DVD. If I'm correct It revolved around an amulet that dracula was trying to attain to take over the world.

I used to watch this movie ALL THE TIME when i was a kid. They should release it on dvd, that'd be nice.

Cooooool!!! I love it when people watched the same rubbish I did! Why these movies disappear is beyond me. Sometimes the memories are better than seeing the movie again though but when this comes to DVD I'm getting it! I remember getting excited when I saw they'd releases Waxwork on DVD! I need to get out more.:(

I'm thinking they may be but I have bought some homemade movies just like that and have had no problems. Especially with movies that are out of print at least till they officialy re-release them it's about the best alternative.

Yeah, I'm certainly tempted. I'm sure I will as I have no will power at all!

Count one of those Monster Squad dvd's on ebay gone to the Propain. Had to order one soon as I found them. Damn now I can't wait to watch this movie again, gonna bring back some memories.

fucking awesome movie

i used to adore that movie. first time i saw it, i was sooooo into the movie that i was watching it eyes fixed on the tv, mouth wide open... giving my dad the perfect opportunity to rip out a loose tooth ! ... i didn't feel a thing :D

Received my copy of Monster Squad on dvd today that I bought off of ebay, has chapter selections and everything, it is a homemade version but has the correct cover and everything. not in widescreen but seems to be a full screen video transfer. But hey I can now watch this movie any damn time I want :D kick ass

i loved this movie as a kid. the concept of all the different monsters in the same movie is so sweet.
