Yeah but not really independent an independant is usually when you dont have a production company backing it and it did.

For me its probably Evil Dead or Last House on the Left

George Romero's original Night Of The Living Dead...and Tobe Hooper's original Texas Chainsaw Massacre...These guys didn't even have enough money to use color film...Many say that the grainy texture produced by the cheap film and equipment, plus the absence of famous actors and actresses...actually added to the realism and made them work better...Pure Genius:cool:

I'd have to go with the original Night of the Living Dead ... seeing as it is my favorite horror film of all time as well.

i was really pleased with savini's reamke he didnt change the story just some of the characters traits and the ending which is how a remake should be

i just went to the premere of vamps 2 it was great! its about vampire stripers. I saw vamps 1 a wile ago and i was a big fan. its so funny, and the stripers are so hot ,especially Glori-Ann Gilbert
