Good vampire movies

Hey I want to know what vampire movies that are worth watching. Or just any vampire movies in general would be good too.

VampRocker 02-01-2004 05:00 PM

Hm. Ever see "Drawing Blood?" It's by Troma, and as a fair warning, I'm absolutely certain that it's the...

Worst. Movie. Ever.

PsychoticPanda 02-01-2004 05:10 PM

Good vampire movies:

Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned, The Lost Boys, Fright Night, Fright Night 2, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and Innocent Blood. I saw Innocent Blood like 10 years ago, and I don't remember it much. All I remember is that i liked it. :)

Onikitty 02-01-2004 05:35 PM

I haven't seen Bram Stoker's Dracula but I've read the book which is amazing!! But I heard the movie is quite different than the book

I haven't read the book, but I love the movie. Even if it's completely different from the book, it's still a good movie.

You should see it.

hellfire1 02-01-2004 05:39 PM

queen of the damned was a disgrace to the book. a nice piece of shit !

PsychoticPanda 02-01-2004 05:42 PM

I haven't read that book either. I want to someday, though. I still liked the movie.

Yeah, you should definitely check it out! It's a great film...

Although, I could have done with a little less "Keanu Reeves," but hey, that's life...

StepfatherFan 02-01-2004 06:00 PM

Since your a guy, I reccomend a little film called Vampyres. Its about these 2 vampire girls who live in a castle, and every night they go out and pick up guys, bring them to their house, and rather than biting them, they just cut them all to hell with a broken wine bottle and suck them dry.

Dracula's Daughter and Son of Dracula are both good.

But both are pretty old--from the 40's.

Rotting Eye 02-01-2004 06:01 PM

Don't assume things about me just because I'm a guy.

You came back. Oh yay.. Feel the excitement.

kpropain 02-01-2004 06:02 PM

Fright Night, hands down

I never left. Somebody has been talking out of their ass if they said I got banned.

Rotting Eye 02-01-2004 06:07 PM

Okie dokie. That's just what I had heard.

Undoubtebly, the cuntface who is spreading the rumor is probably one of the many members of Avenger's fan club. :p

That sounds pretty neat. Where could I pick this up? As in, "is it so incredibly B-movie-ish that I'll only find it on some obscure italian mailorder website or can I get it at Best Buy?"

Rotting Eye 02-01-2004 06:17 PM

Actually, you can find damn near anything on amazon.com. I just searched for it there and found it.

Its funny because one of the girls really likes her victom and doesn't want to kill him, so she keeps him prisoner, still alive, but weak as fuck for lack of blood. The reason I reccomended it to guys is because of the girl on girl sex scenes which so many men seem to be obsessed with. I found them distasteful, but that's just me.

Rotting Eye 02-01-2004 06:23 PM

This may come as a surprise to you, SFF, but not all guys think about sex all day everyday.

Me being one of them. There are other, more important, things in life.

That's odd, coming from someone with your location being "near fluff's butt" in your profile...

Well, I dont think there is anything wrong with people who do think about sex a lot, since I suffer from that affliction myself. ;)
I was reffering to the type of sexual acts that seem to turn a great deal of men on, not the quantity of their sexual thoughts.

Hmm.. Don't know a joke when you see one do you? Besides.. Pay attention to other people on the board, and you'd understand.

SFF- I like the straight stuff myself.. Me being involved in the act is always the best :P

Yeah, maybe I'm just totally out of the loop. I could not, simply put, care less...

Well, that's pretty refreshing. I'm tired of hearing guys rant about lesbians all of the time.

Even more simplistic: If you don't care, don't mention it.

Sure thing, Rotty...

StepfatherFan 02-01-2004 06:50 PM

I'm bored. :( Anybody else watch the Amityville marathon today on AMC?

Rotting Eye 02-01-2004 06:53 PM

I was going to watch it until.. I didn't. Actually Amityville II is on now, I think I'll watch it.

Wait, Simpsons is on.. Decisions, decisions.

The Prophecy marathon has been on Sci-Fi too.. But I think I've already watched those ones before.

Yeah, my Mother has a bunch of letters from the guy who killed his family in that house. She corresponded with him for a long time, but discontinued when he started asking her to marry him. LOL

Sam The Egg 02-01-2004 07:06 PM

OMG THATS NOT ABOUT VAMPIRE MOVIES!!!1

hellfire1 02-01-2004 07:07 PM

lmao !!!

StepfatherFan 02-01-2004 07:11 PM

Say Sam, who is that guy in your avatar? It looks like Elliot from E.T..........15 years later.

Sam The Egg 02-01-2004 07:12 PM

that would be Jake Gyllenhaal in the very very brilliant Donnie Darko

Hmm haven't heard of it. Is another one of those crumby Fox teen sitcoms?

Sam The Egg 02-01-2004 07:20 PM

http://imdb.com/title/tt0246578/

It's a movie, a brilliant one at that.
It could be considered a teen movie, but that seems kindof a derogitory description considering the movie.

not as such, no. It's...I guess it's almost a time travel movie. I'll go with drama/sci-fi

Evisceration 02-01-2004 07:26 PM

You haven't heard of Donnie Darko?

...............

...............

...............

I have nothing to say to that......
