I thought this would be a little bit of fun for those creative horror freaks amongst us! Basically, you're pitching your own made-up horror film as if you were talking to Horrorwood's top film studio. Make us want to buy your film, what's it about, who does it star, what's it called etc etc.

I was working on that.

My first idea:

Prom Of The Dead/Prom Fright
(Cheesy titles, I know.)

This is a zombie flick that takes place on the most important night of every young adult's life: Prom Night. During the night's activities, a group of delinquents sneak out of the party in order to binge on a cocktail of drugs and sex in the nearby cemetery, away from the eyes of their teachers.

During this violent orgy, one of the teenagers knocks down a gravestone. Thinking they've gone to far, they decide to wander back to the party. What they didn't know was that they'd angered the dead. Coming back from beyond the grave, they make their way towards the Prom: hungry for flesh!

There is supposed to be a new Cabin Fever that takes place at a prom...so there goes that down the shitter:D

I know your zombie idea is not the same..but how many prom related movies do we need?

I want to propose a film that is a cross between Alien and Predator...it can be called something like Alien Against Predator, or maybe Alienz vs. Predatorzzzz, or Alien Fytes Predatorzzzzzz. You like? :) :eek:

Except for the orgy...Teenagers don't really engage in orgies...They're usually still a bit in the 'insecure' stage at that age

Oh, and with slug-like things instead of graveyard inhabitants

Still the majority of the movie and end result would likely be extremely similar

How about Mr. Brooks (2007) meets with 12 Angry Men? :D

Mr. Brooks is new in the business (serial killing!). So there are some flaws in his initial works that he need to cover up and "luckily" he has been called to attend the court as one of the Juries for the trail where a student has been convicted for the multiple gruesome murders in the local university. Now it opens a door to Mr. Brooks to figure out his mistakes and he have to make sure that the verdict goes against that young chap (cause he was the man who actually committed those murders). So he have to manage or convince the other juries at any cost!

I'm writing a script for an irish cannibal film called 'Ocras' (gaelige for Hunger).
Got camera/script editor and film editor for it too - i'll post more about it laters..

That's funny because looking through this thread I was going to pitch an idea for a Hammer style movie about the Sawney Beane cannibals.

I think his vision would benefit "Pacman" more than "The Sims".
