Any Wrestling "Gamers" Here?

Hey guys. If you haven't already "snooped" into my profile to see it, I'm a big wrestling fan. So, I was wondering if any one here was, and if so what games you have/want/need to get/used to have, etc. Post it here.

Huge wrestling fan, the most current ones I have are Smackdown Vs. Raw for the 360 (the latest release) and Firepro Wrestling Returns for the PS2.

I used to be a pretty big wrestling fan, but sadly ive lost a lot of interest. I used to own many of the WWE/WCW games and use the create-a-wrestler feature to create the wrestlers that were not originally in the game.

Oh yeah!

I own the whole smackdown series, a couple of things from WCW when it was still around, even the throwback Wrestlemania: The Arcade game.

Don't really like TNA though. I have my reasons but they are rather...well let's not get into that.

My favorite 3D series was the THQ series for the N64. Included games like NWO Vs. The World, WWF No Mercy, etc...

I wound up giving my No Mercy away...I didn't like it too much and I was annoyed by the alternate costumes they had on. I could never figure out how to make them wear their regular gear; but I realized I had a blonde moment--they were unlockables and all I had to do was change the settings basically.

Yes, yes, I know that....but we're talking about the games too...I was hoping everyone's fav's would drop in later. ;) Anyway I started watching when I was 18 months...at the time My favorite was Macho Man Randy Savage--then Shawn Michaels after Savage started commentating....and from May 1995 it has never changed of Triple H being my 1a to Shawn Michaels 1b.

I love the games, I hate watching it now though its getting to be like a soap opera

I'm a pretty hardcore wrestling game fan, I even imported Firepro Wrestling Six Man Scramble for the Saturn. Firepro games are amazing because they include hundreds of wrestlers all real (with fake names to avoid copyright issues) and an amazing creation mode. 2D though, that really kills it for a lot of people. I'm a Smackdown Vs. Raw fan for sure though, I didn't think they would ever get to the level they did though. I played the first Smackdown games and was put off by how fast everybody got back up, even after finishers, it was super arcady. After the AKI games I expected a lot more, ESPECIALLY with the create a character. They've come a long way though, the games kick ass that's for sure.

I used to love wrestling games, I feel that they have been re-built and vomitted back at us with some token updates. I haven't watched wrestling in years however and that may have something to do with my waning interest.

I do love wreastling games and the new TNA game does look quite good for their first attempt fair play. But SVR holds the crown for best wreastling game IMO

I totally agree? When's the release date or is it already out? I thought it was November.

TNA is out and a member here has already bought (and I believe destroyed) it. Ask Freak if you want to know about it.

I miss wrestling but it's not as good anymore but I still do have a place in my heart. I always get excited about wrestling when a new Smackdown comes out. The only 2 smackdowns I liked were the first two. If you could bring back the seasons from smackdown 1-2 and put it with the new games you would have a perfect game.

I haven't played the latest smackdowns but they need to bring back SEASON MODE not STORY MODE. Where everything was random and you actually had a click and different stuff would happen. (I.E Debra came up to me and asked me to jump someone) That was the best...I started watching again.
