Real LSD doesn't exist anymore?
 

Someone told me this, I wondered if it was true.

How can it not exist? You just have to make it.

I mean that what is sold as LSD now isn't the LSD that was created in the 60s, that's what I'm told anyway. I don't know, but it was a college professor who told me.

Sounds like bullshit to me.

Every trip is different. if you get liquid it would be as good or strong as anything from the past.

Not that I would know of course...

I think that ?psilocybin? shrooms were phased out and replaced with this stuff, the more chemically manufactured, similar but not entirely, equivalent.
Don't know what became of lsd though, don't really mess with the manufactured - considering there's a natural equivalent there, which I've tried and it ROCKS like a motherfucker (can't say I'd do it remotely regularly though) I probably wouldn't shed a tear if another chemical got flushed off the streets.
No doubt there's stronger things around now...wouldn't really advise too much indulgence though.

The chemical compound in known, I would think any chemist could make it. Now I wouldn't doubt that people would cut down the amount or maybe even substitute some ingredients for cost or something.

I believe your profesor is referring to pharmeceutical LSD which was used by psychiatrists to treat numerous maladies. It is no longer manufactured by large pharmaceutical companies.

LSD is a complex and tricky drug to manufacture, so yes, a lot of what is sold as "acid" is really DOI.

LSD is synthesize3d Lysurgic acid derived from ergot (a fungus that affects rye products that may be partially responsible for the Salem witch-hunt mass-hysteria) and DOI is simply a manipulated amphetamine.

Derived from Ergot? Eek... Ergot is related to smut (the fungus, not porn) and smut can kill.

I would have to say, if you are going to do drugs, mother nature knows best. People are good at getting REAL close, but with freakky ass side effects.

Maybe the guy who told you just got some bad quality "fake" LSD and got pissed so tried to taint (if you can taint the name of a drug) LSD's name.

Acid has got weaker and weaker in the time I've been taking it (over about 10 years or so). I guess its getting harder to obtain the ingredients to make it so they get substituted for something else.

I prefer Shrooms especially gold tops because you get a stronger trip and there free. A bit more natural too so its less harsh on the body.

I doubt its the same exact acid they made in the 70's, if thats what your asking.
But I know someone who makes it and its not like its much different from the old stuff, we didn't run out, its something that can be recreated.



And acid is awesome btw
