Best Slasher Movie Sequel?
 

My vote would have to be Halloween 2 or Friday The 13th Part 2.

I'd have to go with Nightmare on Elmstreet 3... There were great kills, and the idea of Dream Warriors was kinda cool and pushed the series forward with a few new ideas. It wasn't a tired retelling like many of the Jason movies were.

well, freddy has mystical powers, you can go in every direction with it, every movie he has a new abilitie, that stuff

jason just stands up and kills, the only new thing you can add are relatives, and well, the friday movies and a goddamn soap opera

My vote is on Sleepaway Camp 2. I mean the first one was pretty bad in my opinion.

i have a feeling that you may have thought i was joking...im not. The fucked up music video feel that movie had was really right down my ally. common guys, a guitar with an auger at the end...pure genious!

Halloween II or Friday the 13th II

Friday the 13th part 4. It actually had a good cast (Corey Feldman! Crispen Glover! Joan Freeman!), plus, you can't beat Crispen Glover's death.

You can't beat him busting a move on the dance floor either. I love that part.

It is an underated entry into the series probably my favorite after part 2. Do you think the series would have been better left for dead there or are you glad it carried on? I really like parts 6 & 7 so I'm pretty glad they kept it going.

As long as they keep making them, I'll probably keep seeing them. I probably wouldn't say that if I didn't love Jason X so much.

Child's Play 2, which IMO is the best part of the whole series. Halloween 2 was also really good too.

Yeh I'm much the same I loved that movie! Alot of people aren't into sequels but I think there just taking them to seriously if you just switch yourself off and embrace all the faults its much better veiwing experience. I just like the mad ideas they come up with Jason in space? Classic.

Yeah, I did. When most people want to laugh, they watch a comedy. When I want to laugh I throw in a "shitty" horror film. If they make me laugh alot I end up liking them.

JX is satire, like Bride of Chucky or the TCM remake

I liked Jason X a lot too. I'm not a real critical viewer as some of you might've noticed.

Yeh the reason I watch and love horror movies is that everyhting else is too serious.

friday the 13th parts 2-4 were all fantastic. i also liked H20 a lot.

Well, I wasn't much a fan of Friday the 13th Part 2, although it was slightly better then the origional, i think they could have done better. They had just made a major hit, and now were looking to re-create that success. They fell short. Don't get me wrong, it was better then the first, but still not at full potential.


I think I might like Halloween II better. The first one was great. It is still to this day a classic. The second was was better, which is saying alot.


I will have to go with Halloween II.

I do not consider Freddy to be a typical slasher(Dont ask me why).
So these would have to be my favorite slasher sequels.

In order

1.Halloween:H20
The only sequel that lived up to the classic original.

2.Halloween 4:The Return of Michael Myers
Even though I dont consider it a true sequel,I still liked it.Especially Kathleen Kinmonts G-string ass shot along with her whole bra removal scene.

3.Friday the 13th Part 6:Jason Lives
I love the Alice cooper music.If the scene in the camper with Cort and Nikki doesnt get you horny,what Will?Plus the sheriffs daughter is a hottie as well.

yeah nightmare 3 as thats the one with the veins and the window not only was it good then it was good in the beginning of fvj as well
