Good evening folks!!

Welcome to the 4th Annual ceremony of the HDC Awards, 2008 version. We are here to honor the best (and worst) of HDC in the past year.

It has been a wonderful year for HDC. We have had plenty of contributing members making quite a memorable comeback, plus some wonderful new members who have left their impact in each genre thread and community project with their know-how in the intricacies of horror.

Never has HDC thrived any better. Just like 2007-08 and 2008-09 has been quite a memorable and comeback year for the genre in cinema, HDC has also gone through quite an excellent time too.

And now, let's get this show on the road!! :cool:

Although it seems she is still considered a newbie, ChronoGrl is without question a valued and treasured part of the HDC family. My first real exposure to her was during the HDC Battle Royale, in which she proved to be both a valuable teammate and a dangerous opponent. Using her feminine wiles to their greatest advantage, she mopped the floor with many far more experienced members.

And then...well, then we’ve got the cat. It’s hard to mention Chrono without bringing up that great hairless beast that for some ungodly reason she calls a pet. I’ll refrain from making any more comments about it for fear that I might not wake up tomorrow.

Even though I personally find it hard to considerer her a “new” member, I guess that’s only because she quickly and effortlessly worked her way into this big ol’ HDC family...Ripley, on the other, might take a little longer to warm up to.

So, on behalf of all of HDC, I’m overjoyed to present our beloved ChronoGrl with her 2008 Horrie Award:
