Hi all,

It's been a while since I was last here. And I gotta tell ya, my life has really changed. I finally got out of the abusive relationship I was in and got me and my doggie a cool place to live. We're in a dog-friendly apartment building that has an indoor pool and an outdoor (just closed for the season up here in Minnesota) pool. It's a older place, could use a bit of TLC, but basically in good shape. It's on a wooded lot with trails for people/dog walking. I love it. It is soooooo great to live in a peaceful place with my cheerful little dog (he's a Bichon) where no one constantly harps and tries to control me. I'm in a WAY better place in life.

Anyway, enough about me, I just wanted to officially say HI again and come back to play.

Hi crabby! ;) OK, so I think there may have been some duck love in the pond this morning. There's a small pond on the apt grounds here and there was a lady duck in there. I was out taking the pooch out for his morning walk and saw her there. Then when we got back up to the building, I heard a bunch of quacking. Dunno if Mr. Duck was hitting Miss Duck up for some fun, I didn't feel like walking back to the pond, but there was a whole lot of quackin' goin' on.

Or maybe a duck with a little hockey mask and a big knife was ruining Miss Duck's swim.

Oh yah, and I think I may be living downstairs from Norman Bates. The guy upstairs is very odd and looks like a cross between Norman and Mr. Rogers. He's the only person that my dog actually barks at sometimes. Not always, my dog isn't a big barker and he still tries to be friendly with the guy. But 3 times my dog has actually let out a real bark and it's always been at that guy.

But I've read the serial killers don't usually kill their neighbors. :p

Great to see you back here Mona and good to hear how things have been. I know you can't really express it in writing but it's always really nice in this place when you can tell somebody is genuinely happy (like you are now).
