Yay for obnoxious losers who have nothing productive to say!

Hahahahahahahahaha- that's the way to get people to check out your movie all right!

Keep it up!

And btw, Tim- it doesn't look freaky at all. It looks like a pretty standard slasher type film.

what's the red crap on the screen? somebody forget to check the gate?

newb 07-29-2008 03:00 PM

This and the "filmmakers" forum would be the proper place to "pimp" your movies. Just don't take us for fools.;)

As far as the youtube video....meh....it didn't make me want to rush out to rent it.Granted, I've seen much worse....MUCH worse.

ChainSawLover 07-29-2008 03:03 PM

I guess you'll have to check it our for yourself to see if it is indeed "standard type slasher fare."

Did you watch it all the way through, Rod? It was bugging me too, until the part where it finally turns into a drawing of a face... then at the end it has the film's logo and that shape is in it- it's a visual pun- "Hair of the Dog" -- a dog's hair...

I actually thought that was kind of clever.

Yah, I would... I just thought that was a poor choice for the post's title- "This looks FREAKY" .... because, really... it doesn't.

Look bud, you're already coming here pimping your movie - do you really need to congratulate yourself while you're at it?

I won't be checking out his movie, because I simply don't give a fuck. Spam indeed, from a fuckin' guy who has an attitude too. Fuck that shit.

clever is fine, but never be annoying... kind of a crucial element of any film is that it draws an audience in and that bit of "cleverness" detracts from everything going on onscreen.

this is not a flame, this is a note... you put it out there for criticism and I'm telling you that if the shit on the screen is supposed to be dog's hair in the shot, then you went way too far with a bad idea. Honestly I couldn't be bother to click it and watch it again because I found the "device" completely off-putting

good luck with your filmmaking and I salute you for doing it...

now go do it better

neverending 07-30-2008 11:41 PM

I agree it was too obtrusive, but I give him credit for an interesting idea.

If the hair had been down in the lower right corner instead of right smack in the middle of the frame where it obscured the action, it would have given the idea without being annoying.
