Has anyone else read about the possible Halloween anime project?

Well, that's two votes against it so far. I'm actually into this idea. This film would be the first of its kind that I'm aware of and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

The Halloween comic (from what I have seen) is incredible so I have high hopes for this.

are they going to kill him with Giant Robots? Will he be able to fly for no apparent reason? How are they going to handle his eyes being huge?

what about realistic gore? like in cannibal holocaust, that movie is twice as good as your saturday morning cartoons.
