QT remaking "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!"

RUSS MEYER'S 1966 cult trash movie classic, "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" was about three powerful, murderous, bike-riding strippers, played memorably by Tura Satana, Lori Williams and Haji.

And now comes the news that Quentin Tarantino is eager to remake "Pussycat."

And now he thinks he may have found at least one of his leading ladies in the form of Tera Patrick, who is the No. 1 "erotic performer" in the world.

Montana-born Miss Patrick received a degree in biology from the U. of Boise and worked as an emergency tech nurse. Still, she had a higher calling. Modeling led to work in the adult film field, and now she's rolling in it. Money, that is.

But, though still a hot ticket -- and remarkably sophisticated and grounded, considering the milieu she rules, Tera says, "I am the first to admit I can't do this forever! I'd love to cross over and do more "regular movies."

Tarantino, who has admired her past performances, thinks his "Pussycat" remake may be the mainstream jumpstart Tera needs.

In the meantime, while she awaits the official red carpet, Tera and her husband, musician Evan Seinfeld, continue to build on their joint endeavor, Teravision, which produces her films for distribution.

Good Choice Quentin! :D

well......she most definitely has the requirements to be in a Russ Meyer remake.

Hmmm.... Could be interesting, though that bitch does nothing for me.

Quentin Tarantino is a busy man.

First, there was news of his wining and dining Brad Pitt to star in 'Inglorious Bastards.' Then, we hear that 'Hostel' director Eli Roth, in fact, landed a 'Bastard' role in the World War II drama.

Now, rumors are swirling that pop-star Britney Spears has been approached by the director to star in a remake of the cult-classic, 'Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!'

Whew! And you thought Paris Hilton was busy...

I know what you're thinking: "Britney Spears? The only thing she's acted in (besides 'Crossroads' and 'The Mickey Mouse Club') is TMZ-vision!"

But before you lash out at Ms. Spears (or Mrs. Federline or whatever...), please consider a few things:

1) This is only a rumor. It may have about as much merit to it as an Elvis sighting.

and

2) If true, she would be purrrrfect. Not only would the film re-vitalize Brit-Brit's career but Tarantino is a campy movie genius, not to mention visual poet.


So while pop culture fans entertain the thought of such a union, let's only hope the Weinsteins aren't considering Lindsay Lohan for 'The Attack of the 50 Foot Woman'!
