For those who have already registered there...I have been making some renovations around the place.

For those who haven't yet (and are regs here), check it out and register as soon as you can.

Removed some old stuff, changed the forum-style, updated the member status-es and the look and font of the place looks much more spic and sophisticated.

Me too, I registered.

I love knowing that there's a place we can all go if the worst happens, and HDC closes.

I went there yesterday when I couldn't log in and didn't see any posts... hopefully with more people we'll have more of a "heads up" on such issues.

Looks great V and I am glad we have the back up plan.

The Bomb Shelter forum now has been fully upgraded to the latest version.

A Super-Moderator, Rayne, will be the head of the team of Moderators - Despare, Flayed and Neverending. They are in charge of anything and everything at that place. Rayne will be the overall in-Charge.

All bills have been paid. The forum is good to go for the next couple years at least, if not more. I will drop by from time to time, and keep paying the bills to keep the forum going.

Once again I want to reiterate this point - please don't think of the Bomb Shelter forum as my place, where anything/everything happens according to me.

It is a Bomb Shelter built and maintained specifically in case Horror pulls the plug off HDC at any given moment of time. (it might seem unlikely now, but who knows...it is for that "just in case" scenario)

I have handed over the keys to Rayne.

I now gift the Bomb Shelter forum to all of HDC and all its members. The link is on the first post of this thread, and also as Home Page in my profile.

My role is done.

Our bomb shelter (backup) forum, which was previously at freeforums.org, has now been built at proboards.

The freeforums one was shut down due to inactivity in early-2011. I'll make it a point to keep this one going for as long as I can. It's free for the first 6 months, then it will be a paid service.

Register there and log in, just in case for any sort of contingencies (like the current one which was resolved earlier today).

EDIT - Almost forgot. The new place has a Chatterbox as well. Scroll right down to the bottom to access it.
