Roderick Usher 06-08-2008 04:16 PM

80 degrees (27 C)and beautiful here in Southern California.

The heat will be here soon, but for now it's lovely. I think I'll go for a stroll on the beach tonight;)

Dante'sInferno 06-08-2008 04:33 PM

Fuck this.I'm moving to England.:D

The_Return 06-08-2008 04:59 PM

Pretty awesome here in the Maritimes...nice and warm, but still have that perpetual cool breeze going.

Almost perfect weather, IMO - a few degrees higher than I'd like, but still awesome.

I saw this commercial on the Planet Green channel:
This town called Greensburg was completely utterly distroyed by a twister last year.
They decided to re-build their town comepletely Eco-friendly. From the ground up:)

Freak 06-08-2008 06:43 PM

Been in the mid 90's the last couple of days here and the humidty is making it feel even hotter. We have a public pool but it's always crowded and the beach's are flooded out becasue of all the rain.so I've just been setting in my basement with the central air on.

neverending 06-08-2008 06:45 PM

as for being on topic. we've hada few really hot days recently but they've all ended in freak thunder storms to cool it off so I can't complain.

Elvis_Christ 06-08-2008 07:45 PM

fortunately, pretty much every house we have looked at for either renting or buying in the raleigh area has central air.

Here it has been pushing 100 for the past few days, with promises that its going to downpour and cool everything off.

I am reading on weather.com about the rainstorm i am supposedly sitting in while staring out the window at a perfectly clear blue sky. the upside is that the humidity has tapered off, so at least i can breathe.

However, every tree within 10 miles has dumped pollen on our neighborhood, so everything in yellow. its so thick, if you drop something on the ground, little puffs of pollen roll up from the ground. The good thing is that no one seems to be allergic to it :)''otherwise i would be a swolen runny-nosed corpse right now.

ferretchucker 06-09-2008 06:47 AM

You lot don't reaslise how lucky you are to have that kind of weather!

why do you say that?

ferretchucker 06-09-2008 07:48 AM

I love american heat and humidity! It feels so good on your skin. Over here it's just clouds and wind all the time, with the occasional bit of rain.
