Even though it's the favorite sport of England I really don't give a rats arse about football (I'm a rugby guy,) and aren't surprised we didn't qualify, considering about 90% of the people who play for the teams in england aren't English, so when an england team is put together, we can't use any of the good players that have been in English teams!

Ronaldo sucks balls and I don't know how he's still in Man U after what he did to Rooney in the world cup.

As for a winner, my money's going on France. Lets hope they don't wave a white flag before it's over!

Am totally with Disease on this one. I hate the fucking Italians as well. I'm not rooting for any team in particular (especially not France, which angers the bf quite a bit), but I am looking forward to the Italy - Netherlands game tonight.

so.... France. They doesn't deserve to win anything the way they are playing tonight. Quite a yawner.

All this venom towards Ronaldo cement home the fact that he is now the top player in the world. He's really hitting his stride, and Portugal plays an entertaining style. Even the Germans have opened up their game and have become more entertaining. Always have a soft spot for Holland (Robben is coming into his best also). Sunday was a tough day to be Swiss- they lose in theoro Euro opener (plus they lost Frei) and Fed gets waxed in Paris...

Seriously. It's woeful. And this was supposed to be their "easy" match in this group.


@ Mr. Grady: I've never doubted the boy's abilities. He is a great player with some great footwork, but he likes to play solo too much. I'm sure that with some more experience, he'll get even better. This being said... I still hate him. :p The Germans are really impressive though.
