Drugs, brain eating and a singing blue creature that looks like a pecker.

CopperShark 06-08-2008 04:56 AM

Jaws, my favorite movie of all time. Next in line for horror would be The Evil Dead and The Thing.

Geddy 06-08-2008 05:10 AM

Three way tie between Texas Chainsaw Massacre(74), Dawn Of The Dead (78), and Phantasm.

The Evil Dead.

Dante'sInferno 06-08-2008 07:25 AM

Roderick Usher 06-08-2008 12:26 PM

Night of the Living Dead

The Dark Shape 06-08-2008 12:43 PM

Halloween is my favorite. It's simply a classic.

Halloween II and A Nightmare on Elm Street trail it slightly though.

The_Return 06-08-2008 06:17 PM

Dracula (1931, Bela Lugosi version)

Pit and the Pendulum (1961) is a damn close runner up.

neverending 06-08-2008 06:24 PM

Like Mr. Whale, I place Bride of Frankenstein at the top of my list.

X¤MurderDoll¤X 06-08-2008 06:30 PM

The french film from 1981?... If so, killer film. I haven't seen it in years. I must put it on my Netflix list.

colubrid660 06-16-2008 08:27 AM

Alien, with Videodrome a close second.

weirdgirl1994 06-21-2008 06:52 PM

Tie between Evil Dead and Blood Feast.

jaybomb 06-22-2008 07:16 AM

The Shining
Alien, Aliens
The Exorcist

La Chat Noire 06-30-2008 02:24 PM

I think Scream will always be my favorite because it was the first horror movie I ever saw. I also liked how it parodied other horror movies while still being scary. Plus it's one of the few horror movies that had an all star cast.

Demonique 07-02-2008 05:25 AM

Hellraiser

pumpkin_queen 07-03-2008 12:11 PM

For me it's a toss up between Poltergeist (the first one) and the Original Halloween! Exorcist was the first movie I'd ever seen, I was about 5, that will always hold a special place, I still can't watch that one, even in the day time, it still makes me cringe, ha ha!!

Ryan1999Mufc 07-04-2008 08:38 AM

Definitely one of the Saw movies; probably number one, I love them all! Oh or The Hills Have Eyes remake. :D 2006 I think it was released... :o

Dennoow 07-04-2008 09:37 AM

hmm Saw III and Hostel I are cool, I guess the're pretty much my favourites! Especially Hostel, because of the surprise element, for half an hour it's like a really bad American comedy like Porky's and then it changes and the part with the eye burning was awesome! Also American Psycho, one of the sickest movies ever made!
