Ahhhh That's Why It's So Quiet Today

I forgot - it's the american holiday where people honour the fallen by going to massive topless boating parties and drink their faces off and then post the photos on the internet.

so ... who got drunk this weekend ?

Disease 05-26-2008 11:24 AM

It's a holiday here, but it's called a bank holiday, no real reason, I've still consumed beer and watched cricket, with out a reason for the holiday, do I need one? Hell no!

crabapple 05-26-2008 01:51 PM

amc420vt 05-26-2008 03:07 PM

ChronoGrl 05-26-2008 03:09 PM

So my weekend wasn't that bad... Actually, it was quite good.

...

My boyfriend went off fishing in Maine with his dad and brother...

There's my Alpha Male hunting:

Saturday I took my mom out to a nice dinner at Magnolia's, a Southern Cooking restaurant that's closing in two weeks. I had a fabulous crab appetizer and a delicious fillet minion for dinner. mmmmmmmmmmmm...

Yesterday we went and picked up the two kittens that I had purchased for her...

My mom has named them Emily and Elizabeth, as in Emily and Elizabeth Blackwell, the two first women doctors in the United States (yah - My mom was a history major... could you tell??)

...

They were horrified and spent most of the time under the couch, but when we got them out...

There's Emily (Lizzy is too blurry)... They were moving to fast to photograph.

And there's Elizabeth, nodding off:

I can't wait to take my kitten home (JULY!!)

Dante'sInferno 05-26-2008 03:12 PM

Mostly worked (I hate being woke up early to deal with problems) and drank iced tea (green and Brisk).

memorial day weekend w000,

If you don't work Mondays, does that just make Tuesday the New Monday? :p

I don't work tuesdays either, but nothing in my religion goes against working on tuesday as long as it's after mid-day. :p

GorePhobia 05-26-2008 05:12 PM

I was at a BBQ and we played Horse Shoes, ate some food, and drank some beers. My brother got all drunk and got big and bad with some dude, they got into a scuffle and my brother went to turn around to leave and stumbled and hurt his leg. He might need surgery because they think he might have torn his MCL or ACL. After all that I came home and then went to see Indiana Jones which was alright and today I just hung at the house, watched some baseball and ate some hamburgers.

I know where Lincoln is!

We're thinking about getting a house either there or West Concord... Prices are high, but hopefully we can afford it in a year or so. I just want to live closer to the highway (commute to Cambridge kinda sucks sometimes).

The Flayed One 05-27-2008 10:12 AM

I got drunk, but I had to help a friend move and it was hot, so I sobered up pretty quick. Then I got drunk again, and BBQ'd.

Not much. I should be getting my INTERNETz back within a week or two, so my year long isolation will come to an end.

Tou might be interested to know I'm coming to Baltimore in July. It'll be my first time in that part of the country. My dad plans on taking me for a brewery tour:D
