Dolphinbear

Last night I had this dream that I was combining a bear with a dolphin through godless genetic experiments. I woke up before I got to see the results. I assumed it would surely be a shaggy land dolphin that devoured campers, but my girlfriend pointed out it could have been some sort of adorable aquabear. Which do you think is better and why? What other possibilities exist? I posted this on the bizarro writer's forum, but I need more input than that. This question is eating me up. Like a dolphin bear surely would.

which part is dolphin, which part is bear ?

bear head - dolphin body - something feirce - and wet.

dolphin head - bear body ... intelligent - but soggy.

I figured dolphin head. Though I had never thought about the intellect factor. That thing could devour campers like there's no tomorrow.

I prefer land animals, although either way, it would feast on many fish...

Aquabear. Basically dolphin shaped with fine fun and a stubby bear face. Adorable and smart enough to kill us all.

I think it's kinda difficult for a dolphin to look intimidating...Sorta looks like he's dancing :)

I like the land creature... especially if he delivers candygrams

Doc Faustus 05-09-2008 11:59 AM

I think the main weakness of the landbased dolphinbear is an inability to stop partying.

aquabear is a really cute word....i pick that!

ChronoGrl 05-09-2008 08:08 PM

You used the word "cuddly." I have to go with that one.

Sweet, cuddly Aquabear.

I'm sorry and I hate to burst any bubbles...but it just wouldn't work....the bear would start to eat itself.

I would want a killer Bearphin!

Disease 05-10-2008 10:49 AM

I'd like to see a land bear with Doliphin insides, so it just continuously convolses..

ferretchucker 05-10-2008 11:55 AM

You know what's even better than both?

It's real--I read all about it in the Sun. They captured it and it's in a cage, at the San Diego Zoo. Eats a monkey every day.
