A long time ago, i got in the middle of a physical fight defending a best (so I thought) friend against her abusive boyfriend. got my nose broken in the process and the dumb-ass abusive boyfriend ended calling the cops on himself (and all of us). Guess who the clueless bitch (the NOT best friend) ended up siding with in the long run. There are a lot more stories with that one, but that was the last straw.

My point is, some people are poison. As much as it hurts at first, you're better off without them. Time heals. Take care of yourself.

Cops being involved sucks, I luckily never had to call the cops just kick him out. Although I was pulled over with him because the cops thought we had guns on us thanks to his ass. :mad:

Ya That suck when so called friends have a bad meaning of what friendship really is. I had one too. We where being pulled over and he had meth on him. He said if i was a friend i would hold it for him. I told him if he was a friend he wouldn't ask. If you do the crime be ready to do the time!! Good luck to you. ;)

but if you did it to save her life then you should feel dirty - only because you felt dirty.


the cops aren't just there to harass people - you did the right thing and should feel bad for your friend - but good about yourself for helping.

it shows responsibility - and maturity (the good kind)

I wouldn't let it eat you up MD. The longer you let things go on, the dirtier you would have felt when you still had to call the police. Plus it's better to completely cut yourself off from people who are going to put you in a situation like that. It's just not worth the stress and struggle.

Yeah, it sounds really lame...But, it actually means your closest friend...The person outside of your family who means the most to you...So, I have to imagine this was pretty difficult


I agree with Miss Macabre...As hard as it may be...You really have to distance yourself from people like that, or they'll just drag you down with them...If you can't help them (and I'm sure you've tried), you can only let them go

It's sad...I'm sorry you had to deal with this.

It's that addict mentality. They can't let anything come between them and getting their next fix. Even if it means screwing over the people they love, because at the end of the day, they will always love drugs more.

I've been in similar situations before, probably too many times, and lost a lot of friends. But you got to do what's right for you, because you're responsible for your own wellbeing first.
