correct punctuation/grammar content on forum
 

personally, i will use correct grammar and punctuation. well, for the most part i suppose. i like to keep it all lowercase only because it's stylistic for me.

i'd just like to see what others have to say about it or of their own style. i know there are cases in both extremes. some will talk in slang all the time and others will think that this is a some form of exhibition and final judgement of their mind.

i never use uppercase because i'm lazy - but i'm not so lazy that i wont write proper words.

txtspeak - or whatever its called - is an annoying advertisement for illiteracy

I'm fairly sure I speak for everyone when I say it's not a big deal here. I personally don't like excessive chatspeak. I find it difficult to read a sentence with very few vowels. I don't mind if someone uses shortforms like 'u' instead of 'you' but it's only a two letter difference. Just seems lazy to me.

I try to talk as clearly as possible. I only use the txtspeak or whatever the hell it is when I am on AIM or something just because it is quicker to talk to the person I am talking to.

I belive I speak fairly Clear. My spelling is not always great but i try.

used to be my favorite post before the 10 character rule, it drove people crazy when they'd write out this long winded insult and I'd respond with 3 letters.

i think people are just annoyed anytime you respond

I don't think that's possible, considering no one here knows enough about you to do that...I mean, based on your posts so far, all that we can tell is that you seem to be a bit anal retentive...Which leads me to believe that you may not end up liking it here, because we have a tendency to goof off, cut up, and have a good time...

i think some of these responses would be more warranted in the post "this forum" located in the new member lounge section. this was more about punctuation and grammar. however, i will succumb to my temptation to respond to something i saw in here. i am not necessarily looking for a fun time and goofing off. that doesn't mean i shun it either.

i almost find it annoying now or rather more difficult to keep from capitalizing and just being proper with my text. I don't know. We'll see if I end up converting back to my normal ways.
