Introducing The HDC Trivia Contest of Horrific Proportions
I have enlisted the help of our #1 contributor _V_ to help me bring the folks of HDC the largest and longest trivia contest we've ever had. There will be approximately an hour of trivia two nights a week for five weeks, and we're not just talking horror trivia here folks. Each night of trivia will be section specific, IE: the music sections will have a night of trivia with questions pertaining to music and movie soundtracks. There will also be two special nights where you will not only be able to add points to your total but win special prizes just for winning that night's contest. There are no rules to who can play and the first answer in wins so yeah, you can search google for the answer, but you'll probably get beaten to the punch by somebody who already knows it. Anyway, dates and times will follow in this thread, we'll give you plenty of time to get ready, until then, here are the prizes...

Alright folks, the time is drawing near. This Wednesday night at 12:00 midnight EST our first round will being. This round will be general movie trivia and will take place in the general forum. Read up folks, some of these questions could be tough!

Probably I'll miss first few rounds as I'll having a vacation this Thursday for 3 to 4 days (after a long time since last year at Darjeeling, India) with my friends at St. Martin Island.:o

Will the trivia be centered on horror films only, or will it be broadened to cover all films in general?

Ten minutes until start time and we already have some great thinking music! Thanks Neverending! The rules are simple. There will 5 minutes alloted for each question to be answered. The first person to answer correctly wins. There will be 3 rounds of four questions each tonight and hopefully _V_ will be helping me conduct first round, unfortunately he's having technical difficulties. Keep your fingers crossed.

Round one is now over! We had a small turnout for the first night but that's ok, there's plenty more to come. As of now we have fortunato leading with 5 points and Neverending one behind with 4. Sunday night at 11PM est we will have round 2 in the modern horror section... http://www.horror.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=8 ... and it will be about horror movies only. So come on guys, cut their leads, give it a shot. You never know... you could win.
