...

Still suffering through the flu and can't even curl up at home with the boyfriend... I'm currently on a business trip in Montreal delivering training to our Customer Service Team. On my Birthday.

Could be worse, though. They're taking me out tonight. Though instead of getting smashed I will most likely be sipping green tea or orange juice while chewing massive amounts of Zicam.

Thanks, Doc. :) Thanks V for the thread (and that cake - Cleaver is my favorite flavor. All I need is for Newb to burst out of it and I'm all set).

And thanks all.

Happy birthday, darlin'

And a huge amount of bourbon works better than OJ or green tea:D

Psycom5k 02-25-2008 08:49 AM

Happy birthday Chronogirl it sucks that you had to be away and sick, but then again, maybe by the time you get back you will be all better and then your boyfriend will have a nice surprise for you.

You are welcome. (although the "thanks" was totally un-necessary...its the LEAST I could do...:) )

Sorry to hear you still havent recovered from the flu, and yet have to do the business trip. (Gosh, your boss must SUCK...)

First thing you need when you get back is...PLENTY OF REST. (and pronto!)

And just look at Newb...isnt he a dish?;)

Yes. Now THAT is what I'm talking about.

I might actually leave work early and slink off to my hotel room... At least the bathroom actually has a bathtub (I, sadly, do not at home), and I might just soak for a while.

Thank you, Dear (and everyone as well)...

Yes, oh, definitely yes... This is expenses paid (well reimbursed)... Paid for this lovely fleabag that doesn't even have a restaurant or room service.

But all is well...

I spent my Birthday evening taking a nice bubble bath and then kicking back and watching Shutter over pizza delivery.

And Sudafed is a GOD for flu victims. I'm ramping myself up for tomorrow where I KNOW I'll have to go out with the Team here. We'll see what happens.

yay, sounds awesome, just drop 3 or 4 daytime pills before you go out and then have some champagne, yeah, that's responsible.

So are you in your room now, give us a link for the hotels website, so I can judge it my self.

I'm telling you. Quality.

My room is currently situated close to the elevator. All I can think as I try to sleep is how easily accessible it is for serial hotel murderers.

Wishful thinking.
