My first post.
But here's my first suggestion for the perfect sequel.

AVP2

What we do is have 2 ships crash onto a deserted planet.
Let Aliens loose on one side.
Let Predators loose on the other.
Put Michael Buffer at the equator with that cool mic in his hand.
Ring the bell.
Let'em go.

Last one standing wins.
How's this sound?

i've got a better idea -

alien sits down in a run down cafe at the edge of pigalle in paris. he smokes a cigarette while idly stirring his espresso. predator comes in carrying a briefcase. predator also orders an espresso but never looks at it, instead staring out into the street. after an insufferable amount of time the two make eye contact and begin to chat. soon their conversation turns to deeper questions of life. they eventually abandon the cafe and wander the streets of paris and the bridges over the seine reveling in the glory of life and lamenting the grinding banality of life.

as they watch the sun sinking over the city skyline predator slowly turns to his friend and guts him - but allows the acid blood of the alien to cover him and they both lay dying in the fading light

how's that

But before (or during) the acid bath, they have sex.

That sounds shit, even for an arcade game.

It's for pure gore,
not interested in plot.
I know they are already making a second.
The first truly sucked bad.
Get rid of the plot.
Let those things go.

I did like the cafe idea, that's funny.

You think gore is better than plot. Things are going from bad to worse. Quit while you're behind.

Of course gore is more important than plot.
At least in a slasher, or AVP type movie.

There really isn't much more you can do with the two characters.

I would love to see them let loose on an empty planet.

Plots are for different types of horror movies.

And I love them (Seven was all about the plot).

But AVP is more about inventive kills,
and intense violence and gore.

Don't mess that up with some silly love story.

no silly love story but I suppose there was no plot in alien, aliens, alien3, Alien ressurection, predator or predator 2.

I consider any film with more gore than plot usually a flop. Some pull it off but they're usually Horror Comedies.

how about this..... predator crashes on aliens plant and becomes the hunted. I'm sure there could be some gruesome killings in that lol He manages to collect some acid blood from his first victim and uses it against them.Just one predator though against the whole planet of aliens.NAHHH never mind it's been done to many times with the human race.Just thought it might be interesting
