What's happening?

Anything interesting happening in you're life at the moment?

Or over the last few days?

I went through the Scottish highlands over the weekend.. spent a few nights near loch Ness, it's a really creepy place. We had a picnic down by the bank and it's just eerie especially this time of year. And the road on one side of it is a single lane road for two way traffic, my girlfriend didn't want to go down it but I will get to at some stage I hope.

neverending 10-08-2007 06:09 PM

There's a new Loch Ness monster movie coming out, but it's a kid's movie.

Disease 10-08-2007 06:13 PM

That's O.K, they can do the kids movie, I'm starting on my own screen play. but I don't think I'm going to use the monster but a different take on the loch..

There is a great saying...

What the loch takes, the loch keeps, what the river takes, the loch throws back.

I would love to go there. Looks like its dripping with atmosphere.

Would also like to see an adult Loch Ness movie.....cool monster...lotsa gore.

Yeah I was thinking about the monster, but I thought it may be to cheesy...

I thought of a story where the monster had left the loch because of all the tourists and had been in the sea but now it returns...

But the Loch is actually scarier than the monster it's self I think.

Alistair Crowley had a home on the shores of Loch Ness where he supposedly opened a portal to the demon realm and left the premises before closing it. The estate has been the home of mysterious deaths and all sorts of hauntings.

neverending 10-08-2007 07:46 PM

Are you going to take any pictures? It would be really cool to see what you saw.

I'd love to visit there someday.

Loch Ness
http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n...468/ness01.gif

An example I'm not the photographer!

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n.../Boleskine.jpg

House in the hamlet of Boleskine, one mile south of Inverfarigaig on the eastern shore of Loch Ness. It lies directly above a cemetery, burial place of the Fraser Clan.

From 1900 to 1918 Boleskine House was the home of Aleister Crowley, the self-styled "Great Beast" of black magic. Crowley bought the house in order to start the work called "The Abramelin Working" in which the magician purport to create a Knowledge and Conversation with the Higher Self, or the Holy Guardian Angel.

In 1973 an act of exorcism was performed in order to rid the house of evil spirits. Since then it has had several owners, including Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, whose daughter tragically died at the house.
A later owner shot himself.

I took photos but the digital camera is being repaired and I had to use a disposable one...

I'm going to head back up there in a month or so and stay for longer, I should get some good photos then.

And hopefully a lot of writing... It's hard, the feeling I had when I was there has completely left me..

Hard at work on an interesting and challenging project :)

hellfire1 10-10-2007 04:04 AM

Visiting my mother who has disappeared, leaving me with my little brothers and sister while there are people drilling, banging and going in and out of the house because their whole basement is being redone. They've been at it since 8 am.... which gave me about 3 hours sleep.

And she wonders why I don't come and visit more often!

I doubt it. Reason I didn't like him is because he didn't like me.

That's equally shit then.... Why go to the funeral then, I'd say I have to work or something...

But at least you can get drunk , well in Australia funerals normally turn in to big piss ups anyway...

My mom wants me to go, I'm not about to tell her no or argue after her brother just died.

Well that's fair enough. I don't think I've ever been to a funeral of someone I disliked..

Definitely people in the family I didn't know very well, but that's different.

It's good you will be there for you're mum.

I've started GCSE work a year early, that way I'll have a few more GCSE grades than usual. It's suprisingly easy.

This weekend was Thanksgiving weekend. My boyfriend came home on Friday night and we had cake and cupcakes for dad's birthday. Watched Evil Dead 2 later that night.

On Saturday the boy and I got to spend the day with his two nieces. They are aadorable and love bugs haha. So we built a home for a catepillar. Then went to his half sister's house to fix a computer.

Sunday we had Thanksgiving dinner at his uncle's house with the entire family, then went to see the Comfort Maple which is a hugggge ass maple tree.

Monday was Thanksgiving at my house so I did a lot of baking and cooking. Then we ate. Later we watched Pumpkin Head.

tic 10-11-2007 09:35 AM

right now my computer is taking the piss out of me - AOL has crashed 3 times within the last half hour, it shows I have 56 emails! and guess what I don't have any.

AOL is like a drug to a computer. You can't seem to take it off them and it fucks up their brains.

Well then, when your mother's not looking, quietly spit on his grave - and one extra for me. ;)

ferretchucker 10-12-2007 07:13 AM

I've always seen thanksgiving as an early christmas without the tree, the crackers, the star or the snow. Just a big turkey dinner.
