Night of the living dead would be my favourite, Dawn of the Dead (remake) would be a close second.

I was let down by the original Dawn, and Day of the Dead, they took a turn into complete cheese-fests lacking atmosphere.

Any one see Zombie Town, I watched it earlier this year, it's pretty cool for low budget.... good script.

Yes I know I left a lot of classics off, but these are the ones I enjoy the most. I own over 70 zombie films, always enjoy seeing something new, and have never watched one I hated (I own House of the Dead AND sequal and love em both :D ).

I am saving my Night of the Living Dead 3D for when I go to visit my friends...cant wait for that one!

Oh...and I never understood why everyone loves Zombi. I found it rather boring. I DONT want to turn this into a debate, but for those of you who love it I would just like to know why. The eyeball scene was pretty nasty, but I found myself more bored then entertained.

i bought Evil a while ago. not reccomended.

The greek one? I was sorta disappointed with that one too...decent gore though.

Apart from the usual, I suggest two good ones I have seen recently - Dead Heat and The Dead Next Door.

While the former is an action flick with large doses of black humor thrown in, the latter is a low-budget, cheesy little flick. Mindless entertainment stuff.

For the first effort into a zombie flick from Greece, I thought it was decent/watchable.

At least it beats a lot of zombie crap which gets piled out of Hollywood in recent times anyway.:rolleyes:

I went into it expecting sort of Plaga-Zombie-ish fun, but it took itself too seriously, i think thats whats wrong with it.

The ending was quite cool. I liked it.

The story was the same stuff though, with locations changed.

Night of the Living dead and Dawn of the dead. :D
