The Evil Dead Series...

Omg, I have to say, that compared to the first one, evil dead II and army of darkness are freakin jokes, these can't even be called horror comedies, they're on the same lines as ernest scared stupid, just stupider. Really couldnt sit through them. Yeah the first one was a little campy, but I love how violent it was, and they took it so seriously, you have to ask what the purpose of the other two were.
Army of darkness made me laugh like two times, I was desperately waiting for some of the seriousness from the first one to show up, but every thing was treated like a big joke.
Huge dissapointment.

Omg , Like give me a fuckin' break.

illdojo 09-12-2007 04:46 PM

Yeah..Umm...nOOb, Evil Dead 2 is a masterpiece. Watch it again.
Like, for sure, like OMG.

Disease 09-12-2007 04:52 PM

Me too! I'm shocked...... I guess they are not for everyone. But really Danielnogo .....when you compare a film like Evil Dead 2, which yes, many of us do consider to be a masterpiece, to Ernest Scared Stupid, you probably can't expect to be taken too seriously around here. :D

They're some cheesy old movies about a cabin (Wow, original!) with some Batty Boy named Bruce using a chainsaw on these stupid zombies that talk about souls, it's really gay. I'd rather watch XXX:State of the Union or Maid In Manhattan.

Zero 09-12-2007 05:33 PM

huh? a series of films about an old cabin full of souls - is this popular? i've never heard of these films at all?

I think they made like 30 million altogether or something, Transformers has made over 500 million, shows who is better.

Disease 09-12-2007 05:36 PM

Something like that, but without the creepy old German guy.

That's really not fair though, because Transformers has evil alien robots....and everyone knows that evil alien robots just makes a movie more awesome.....

Oh and Michael Bay, he's like, the best director EVER......and he has nice hair.....

 :p

I cried on Bad Boys 2.

alkytrio666 09-12-2007 06:13 PM

Evil Dead 2 is very, very good. Not as good as The Evil Dead, but very good just the same.

Army of Darkness doesn't even hold a candle when compared.

dewaholic 09-12-2007 08:01 PM

I saw evil dead 2 like 10 or more years ago. I'll never watch it again. It was aweful.

Are you smoking crack?
1) Yes
2) No

---> 1) If Yes, its pretty shitty quality. Get some decent stuff to get stoned.

---> 2) If No, I suggest you get your head checked at your nearest shrink's to see if something called a BRAIN is inside there.

knife_fight 09-12-2007 09:10 PM

YEAH! and what's so wrong with Ernest: Scared Stupid???????

Danielnogo 09-12-2007 10:26 PM

Okay...

Honestly I didnt watch the whole thing of evil dead II, but I had just finished Army of Darkness, and was pretty annoyed, so I think I was biased. I'll give it a rewatch.

...Give me back my hand!

Chainsaws
Shotguns
Demon possessed corpses
Disembodied hands
The necronomicon
Bucketloads of blood

What's there not to like about this movie?

It fucking rules!!!

Zero 09-13-2007 02:33 AM

Yeah, and I should maybe mention I don't really think that Michael Bay is the best director ever.....though he does have really nice hair, I know because I watched about 2 minutes of an interview with him and he kept tossing his head back like those girls in the Pantene commercials........

massacre man 09-13-2007 10:03 AM

And to set the record straight, I thought that guy was a girl, he had tits and everything.
