Friday the 13th box set update.
 

Kane Hodder is definitely doing a commentary track for Part 7 and that film may be presented uncut for the first time. Hodder also mentioned having a commentary track from each of the men who played Jason in their perspective films.

No release date has been set. I can't wait though.

More news on the set. Paramount had cameras at Fango's Weekend of Horrors grabbing as much footage as they could for the upcoming DVD set.

Wow, first time I heard about the boxset. I have the NOES boxset, and I just got FvJ, so I have all the Freddy movies, all I need is the Jason movies.

I haven't even seen all the FT13 movies. Just the first, parts of Jason Goes To Hell and Jason X. So I'm definately looking forward to this.:)

Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X won't be in the set. You'll have to purchase those indepently.

Meh, then I guess I won't be buying Jason X, I hated that movie with a passion, which I think gave me maybe the wrong perspective on him since maybe that's why I'm not that big of a fan of Jason.

It's definitely a "different" Jason movie. But so was Jason Goes to Hell. Go back and watch the older ones for the real Jason I suppose.

I never heard about this. Sounds great. I wish JGTH and Jason X would be included though, but it's all good. I'll be buying this for sure.

Hey Avenger thanx for the update... I have been waiting for a Friday box set...

I was at Suncoast Motion Picture Company the other day and I asked the guy working if there was any plans for a Halloween boxed. He said probably not, because the film rights are divided between three studios. But he did tell me that the Friday The 13th boxed set ( Minus Jason Goes To Hell and Jason X because a different studio owns the rights to those two.) will be out before next Christmas. So I would guess it will be out sometime late November/early December.

Hopefully it comes out early October.

I know...I want this thing now. Seeing Part 7 uncut for the first time will be great, even if the movie still sucks I want to see all of that precious hack & slash footage that was cut.
