What i ask is:What is the nastiest film of all time?
I cant make up my mind.( yes i have one somewhere).

Could it be a SAW film or a HOSTAL film , maybe its something else like GOODFELLAS or CASINO.

Nasty as in hard to watch in some parts like at the end of Casino where Joe Pesci gets baseball batted at the end, - for example.

No i guess it dosent have to be big budget at all, dont know why i put it in there.

Not really horror, but it sure is horrific.




And for a BIG budget movie i would say "Saving private ryan".

i think one of the nastiest and heaviest films is hostel.

Hostel isn't the most anything, it's not even the best Eli Roth movie (That would go to Cabin Fever), though he better make "Trailer Trash" and "Cell" good because his movies seem to get worse each time around and don't think I could tolerate much less than Hostel 2.

You gotta admit that Cronenberg's THE FLY gets rather nasty at the end - the maggot birth, the acid burn. And that was a large budget, studio flick.

I think the Brood is nastier than the Fly, although the Fly has some hardcore nastiness. The Brood is pretty damn icky.

Irreversible - without a doubt. close second would be A Ma Soeur (or in the english titled version Fat Girl) - not as horrific as Irreversible but definitely makes you want to take a long shower after.
