Most potential to suck
 

What film had the most potential for disaster yet pulled it off to become decent? I'm going to say Underworld b/c I was really expecting a total Matrix/Blade rip. For the most part, they didn't lift too much from those films.

when i first saw evil dead all the people that had seen it said it sucked:eek: .....i used to be from a very small town lmao.....anyway i went into the movie thinking that it was gonna bite the big one.. but i fukin dug it!!!!!!!!!!.........i love that movie and all the ones that followed

28 days later looked so good in the previews to me but i HATED it with a passion but most people ive talked to and alot of you guys liked it

Jason X. I was so sure this was going to be the dumbest movie i ever saw but to me it was one of the better friday movies.Especially at the end when he was wearing all titanium and his eyes were glowing red that shit was awesome

Cujo...when i saw it was about a St Bernard i was like 'oh man, this is gonna be like Beethoven on steroids' or something, but it turned out pretty good

i think the potential is massive. i think a volcanic sized cash teat bigness. this potentiality is huge because the movie is very important to some people, and their expectations are gonna be through the roof (i'm still pissed that they even DECIDED to make it, let alone the feckin thing is ACTUALLY coming out).. unreasonably high expectations perhaps so the gulf between fans of the movie and people who've never heard of it before is enormous. where's the vomit smiley

I can see where you are coming from Buddy. Which is why I'm trying to keep an open mind about it and not form an opinion until I see it. So often expectations can ruin a film.
