My Name Is Bruce.

I used search and couldn't find the topic, so I'm posting a new one, a bunch of people have gone and rated this movie a 10 on IMDB when it hasn't been released yet. Now the Average is 9.6 and it's listed as the #1 Horror and Comedy film on IMDB.

At least I thought it was funny.

Anybody know when the movie will be released?

nightmareslasher 07-18-2007 10:02 PM

i have been waiting for this movie for a long time. well imdb says september but who knows, probabally in the fall sometime i would think

Phalanx 03-19-2008 01:38 AM

My name is Bruce

...what's up with this film?
I imdb'd it some time ago, people SEEM to have seen it, but I can't even find a godaweful copy of it through any torrent type resorts...
So is it finished? Is it coming out? if so, when/where?

_____V_____ 03-19-2008 03:11 AM

It premiered at a couple of Film Festivals last year, and generated good responses. Was supposed to release in Oct 2007 but for some reason hasnt been released yet.

It was supposed to be relaunched at the East Lansing Film Festival on 13th March (a week back) with complete DTS 5.1 sorround sound. Thats the latest so far as I know.

The trailer's up here :- http://www.movieweb.com/video/V07LahruvCDLQX

It might go direct-to-DVD or see a limited theater release soon, given the response at East Lansing.

Elvis_Christ 03-19-2008 04:15 PM

I was looking for this too...

It sounds pretty decent.

urgeok2 03-19-2008 04:32 PM

yeah - i'm dying to see this one.

cant see why it wouldnt be given a theatrical release...

Elvis_Christ 03-19-2008 04:34 PM

Not enough dick jokes?

Psycom5k 03-19-2008 05:09 PM

Nah, its just way too much bruce to fit on a theater screen. Remember guys that chin is huge allready, if they tried to put it on the big screen it would be so big NASA would have to fly to mars to see the cleft.

Does anyone know where I can stream it online?

I don't want to DL it

Angra 11-21-2008 10:12 AM

somebody call the police.

Braineater 11-21-2008 12:07 PM

It doesn't come out on DVD till Feb next year... I looked hard for it, but it only came out in theatrical release when he toured with it... No cams available... and you should at least rent it from netflix if you get a chance. It's Bruce Campbell not deustch-boy from Twilight. He deserves support-

Eat Horror 11-22-2008 10:56 AM

Just wait, Bruce deserves your money :p

hacelikewhoa 11-28-2008 02:46 PM

Anyone else had the pleasure of checking this out yet? It was a fun movie. If you're a Campbell fan, you'll love it. If you're out of the loop, you'll probably be thinking "What the hell did I just watch"? It's pretty much directly for campbell fans.

Check out my review for more of my thoughts on the film.
