movie memoribilia?

thought it might be interesting to see people brag about what they've got. i've got one thing of interest, a signed press book of suspiria, presumably from one of it's test screenings or premieres. it was £15 from ebay and came with a COA

This one time as a kid, I made myself a freddy glove, with some butterknives, a couple of screwdrivers and a mitten?
It was badass.
Ok...that's about as good as it gets for me.

As an avid Dracula fan..
i had figures..movie posters..
masks etc.[props]
I paid nothing for them..
got them from the manager at the theater
who just happened to be the mother of a school mate.
I don't have them anymore..but i do have the real thing 'goofy grin'

i tried bidding on a vincent price autographed photo but it got bid up to $61, so fuck that. there also seems to be a lot of former movie props on ebay, swords from gladiator and jump suits from event horizon to mention two.

stubbornforgey 05-28-2007 04:16 PM

Oh...you should have been in NZ when they were selling
props from LOTR and Zena princess warrior..

was ridiculous the prices paid for some of the small items.

all i own is the necronomicon.

swiss tony 05-29-2007 01:05 AM

all these movie props are really interesting and i considered parting with good cash to get my hands on some movie history but then i thought, why the hell would i hang bilbo's smoking jacket on my wall? its all so pointless. something discreet is better.

I have a small rubber heart in a petri dish that reads"Meet Leslie Vernon...He'll steal your heart." Cool promotional shit from Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon

And I have a DVD of the documentary The SciFi Boys autographed by Ray Herryhausen and Don Glut.
