Who, in movies, was killed that you REALLY thought deserved to live or really didn't want to die?

Also- Who did you want to die, but they made it?

My number 1 is Saffron Burrows in Deep Blue Sea. I really liked her, she was so kick ass, I wanted her to make it, and she was SO close! She does get mega props for sacrificing her life at the end though.

i really liked the mexican girl from friday the thirteenth part 3, i do not believe she deserved a harpoon arrow through her fine ass.

Spoon in Dog Soldiers would be my number one pick,he served that Werewolf its ass on a plate and didn't deserve to end up splattered all over the Kitchen.

Oh and the Hare Krishna Zombie in Dawn of the Dead,just because he makes me chuckle.

BTW...If anyone saw Dead Meat...I thought it was stupid that the last 2 guys let themselves get surrounded by zombies and killed while the chick that was with them just went up the stairwell after they were dead and she lived...Why didn't THEY go up the stairwell, too?...AND...What were the 'rescuers' doing with the survivors that they crammed in the truck at the very end?...Were they planning to kill them or what?

I felt bad for the mother and child in Silent Hill. That was a great ending, but I wish they had made it out, after all of that...

David Kessler in An American Werewolf in London,he really should've stuck to the roads but he really didn't deserve to become a werewolf and ultimately die naked down a back alley because he wandered on to the moors.....he did get some action with a hot nurse though!Oh,and Jack too.

Also the Medic played by Giovanni Ribisi,that was sad.

wouldn't it have been a fairly short movie. not to mention quite pornographic (jenny agutter was hot!). if only they had've pumped kanes body into deep space then we wouldn't have had all that trouble with them pesky aliens.lol

Oh! The jamaican guy with the dreads in Alien 4, he was the only cool person, besides Ripley and Winona Ryder in the movie, and he should have been allowed to live.

I have to agree with BR. Ben is the first one who comes to mind, in both the original and the Savini remake.

i didn't like him, or any of the idiots in the movie. They all had dumb ideas. I liked that kid who ate everyone the most.... because she ATE them all, stupid people and they're parents. I didn't mind the mother, because she wanted to help, and chucked stuff at her husband:)

Corporal Hicks from Aliens. Well, technically he survived that movie, but they killed him off at the beginning of the next one.

Michael Biehn's characters died a lot. He was in many major flicks from the 80's and 90's but hardly anyone knows who he is.

The ever infamous jack sparrow scene of POTC2 really gets to me. My two favorite POTC characters in a deciding fight, and the 2nd best was taken :(

Frank from 28 days later. It upsets me everytime I see him become infected. The people I was happy to see die would be the 2 girls from Hostel that are run down.

That's a good question.....maybe the English species of Werewolf suffers with really bad blisters caused by road surfaces!

You know what's funny about the John Coffey thing?...Even Stephen King said that he didn't want him to die and that he was hoping he would somehow be spared at the last minute, but that THAT wasn't how the story unfolded in his head...He said the story just 'wanted' to be that way, and that it made him sad...Weird, huh?

Dallas in Alien, he was a cool dude.

Karl Urban as Munder in Ghost Ship. The rest of them sucked but I thought he was good.
