cause no one goes into the music forum and i thought if we can talk about what we last ate then why not what we last listened to. there's a bigger audience in here. also, if you don't like the thread then employ a policy of tolerance.

You're a touchy fella, aren't ya Tony?

Is that a comon behavior for swiss people, is it just you?

bloody_ribcut 03-28-2007 01:20 PM

im into everything from the doors and bob dylan to eazy-e and three six mafia, and everything in between.
even japanese noise, i believe behind everysong lies a movie waiting to be drawn by my imagination.:D

'giggles'

welcome to the itchy and scratchy show :p

If i were to choose an album
I would always go with the ones with all different mixes on them

bwind22 03-29-2007 01:41 AM

My most recent CD purchases were

Greg Graffin - Cold as Clay
Nikola Sarcevic - Lock, Sport, Crock (Hey, Nikola is from your part of the world. Sweden, not Switzerland though. Are you a Millencolin fan?)

As for what I listen to regularly, Pennywise, Bad Religion, Millencolin, NOFX, Goldfinger, Lagwagon, Obie Trice, Xzibit, Dr. Dre, Pantera, System of a Down, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty. I'm fairly diverse in my music taste. As long as it's good, I don't really care which genre it's in.

And just for the record, I would have seen this & replied if it was in the music forum, but it also does not bother me that you posted it in general either.

We do not have a food forum, so topics pertaining to food go in the General Forum

Just trying to clear up any confusion

Vulgar Display of Power is probably the best hard rock/metal album I've ever heard.

swiss tony 03-29-2007 02:51 AM

how about load? hard to beat

Prey 03-29-2007 04:13 AM

Esham - Closed Casket.

The Metallica album?

I like Metallica, but I would have to disagree on that one. I don't even think Load is Metallica's best album. I think I prefer both Ride the Lightning & ...And Justice for All over Load, but my favorite Metallica album is the black album. I would probably consider that album as one of my top 5 or 10 metal CDs, but probably not Load. I guess I prefer their older stuff. *shrug*

swiss tony 03-29-2007 07:45 AM

i was putting load into hard rock. if you want to talk metal then, master... or ...and justice are better. vulgar... is pretty close. now, if you're talking thrash then reign... by slayer. (i think i might be overdoing the...)

demonwoman 03-29-2007 04:48 PM

I listen to classical and opera(Wagner,Verdi,Puccini),:)

rock oldies(50's,60's,70's), :)

and heavy metal(Danzig,Metallica,Rob Zombie).

Amen to that.I mainly listen to punk but like some metal.Vulgar Display Of Power is one of my top 10 albums ever.

Nice choice! I'll never get in another Pantera-like mosh pit after that tour, though. Way out of hand.

Despare 03-29-2007 08:09 PM

Since it's warmed up here I've been driving around with the windows down blasting Sublime everywhere I go.

Agreed. Pantera pits are nuts! The entire floor of the XCel Center was a mosh pit. I saw Pantera with Slayer, Static X, Morbid Angel & someone else... Deicide I think. That was a pretty sweet show.

pantera and slayer together? a dream come true. nobody comes to belfast. the last gig i saw was joan river (went with my wife), what a venomous old woman, but funny! my claim to fame is seeing metallica at the antrim forum, a small sports hall that holds 1000, on their and justice tour. i think i was 13 at the time and i drank my first quarter bottle of vodka. great times!

stenchofdeath 04-22-2007 07:28 AM

My album of the month is The Agony Scene- The Darkest Red, but i'm also listening to Caliban- The Undying Darkness, Pestilence- Consuming Impulse and
Morbid Angel- Altars Of Madness:cool:

Jacob Singer 04-22-2007 03:52 PM
