Who else has this game?I love it!Best game i've played for the computer besides doom 3.

I've got this one. I got it shortly after it came out in Australia but only play it occasionally. Not that it's a bad game, just that I don't have all that much time to play, and have to spread the time out over a few games that I like... :(

It has great atmosphere, and the combat system seems to be a bit more precise/difficult than HL2 which is a nice change.

I recently upgraded my system, so FEAR is even better now that I can play with everything on max and still get very good frame rates.

I am a HUGE fan of FEAR. The last 20 minutes or so are unbelieveably intense, and the ending nearly made me shit myself. It is amazing.

I am yet to get there... but this will give me some extra motivation :cool:

Ive been meaning to check this out, but I never get around to picking it up. Looks awesome.

Got this & the expansion pack Extraction Point which is great as well.

Just copied this game last week and I have never been so into a game. Blast the TV, turn off the lights, play at night, and your in for one hell of a ride.

For all of you out there who have yet to play F.E.A.R. (hint hint Vamp:p )...

Which one have you got?

I upgraded mine to the latest 8800 recently and the visuals are smooth as hell, but previously my 7950 was running it just fine.

If you are trying it on the 7300 or older, forget it. The frame rate becomes too low and the game fails to load.

oops sorry Dante, I should have been more clearer. I was talking about graphics card.:o

8800GTX is the newest nVidia GeForce card, and previously I had nVidia GeForce 7950GTX. I was saying that if the game was tried on an nVidia GeForce 7300 series card or earlier, the frame rate of the game falls too low and it fails to download.

My suggestion, for decent graphics and kickass gameplay, at least get a nVidia GeForce 7600GT. Or, if your board supports ATI Radeon, look for the X1800 series as a good enough choice.

I have a laptop,i'll try and get one soon.:)

Ask a tech for details of your laptop, and if it can support a decent graphics card. You might get lucky.:)

too bd for sony they really are hurting i think in 3-5 years people will want ps3's but now there are just no games that people would want to pay $600 to play
