Favorite Fast Food Sandwhich

What is your favorite way to clog your arteries? Big Mac? Whopper? Wendy's Classic Double with cheese?

Right now I have had crazy cravings for BK Stackers.

Despare 02-21-2007 04:32 PM

The McRib... lucky for me they don't offer it all the time or I'd get fat in a hurry.

Arbys French Dip...........

Roderick Usher 02-21-2007 05:06 PM

I find all of the chains rather nasty and I can't bear to give them my money. When I need a burger I fire up the grill. When I need a big sub (my favorite thing) I hit the local mom and pop Sandwich shop.

Corporate restaurants suck! They destroy small businesses and homogenize the planet.

Just like Wal-Mart killed Ma and Pop stores of almost any kind.

The Mothman 02-21-2007 06:33 PM

Those hardees big ass ones. fucken expesive, but huge. and enough calories for a whole day.

I heard a pretty funny fast food joke recently.

What do Micheal Jackson and Ronald McDonald have in common?

Both of them like shoving 40 year old meat in 6 year olds' mouths.

alkytrio666 02-21-2007 07:27 PM

I like Quiznos. A lot. I don't eat there often, though, because it's a tad expensive for my tastes (keep in mind I'm a teenager who buys DVDs with every available buck; I'm a penny-pincher).

I've never tried Quiznos, is it better than Subway?

The Mothman 02-21-2007 08:03 PM

Yes, however it is rediculously expensive.

crabapple 02-21-2007 08:22 PM

Yes, I agree. Quiznos sandwiches are good but very pricey.

They did hire rathergood studios to do those animated commercials though, the ones with the singing roadkill-looking squirrel embryos or whatever those were. So that's a point in their favor!

Manic1511 02-21-2007 08:32 PM

Beef and bacond burger ftw.

Phalanx 02-22-2007 02:52 AM

I guess if subway counts...a lot of times, I enjoy just getting their plain salad and cheese sub on white, no cucumber, extra olives, a little mayo, a little tomato sauce, pepper, no salt.

McDonalds - I'll usually order a QP with bigmac sauce, and sliced tomato.
If you have a friend working there (I know I dont...that makes this difficult), you can get 'em to grill the onions onto the meat when they cook it - that kicks ass...but a lot of the little bitch managers won't let that fly on account of the whole 5 seconds it takes to whipe a little burnt onion off the grille.
If not that, The chicken burger, with tomato.
Don't much like their stuff unless drunk or stoned though...

BK - Just their plain whopper with cheese, that's the one with salad, yeah?
Not double, no bacon. It's probably heart-attack inducing enough.

QuiznoS is ok I suppose, but I havent eaten there enough to really know what my "favourite" would be...they did something called a Black Angus here for a while, that was alright.

stubbornforgey 02-22-2007 02:55 AM

My fav burger..
cheese..pineapple and beef burger..

not with that crap mince but with the real beef mince

If you like your subs toasted, then absolutely! I don't do this much for restaraunts, because they're hard to vouch for, but I highly recommend Quiznos.

Mmm Mmm Toasty!

The_Return 02-22-2007 11:49 AM

I havent eaten at a Quizno's in years...I went when the first one in town opened (At least 5-6 years ago to chance a guess). Wasnt too fussy about it, and havent bothered to eat there since. Guess I should really give it another chance, haha.

Absolutely...none of the chains/franchises have ANYTHING on a REAL burger/takeaway place, cheaper, better ingredients, tastes heaps nicer, and the burgers are more often than not bigger'n better for you.

There's ONE place here (not close, but if I really want it, close enough )
called "Burgerman", there's only one of them, and they make gourmet burgers.
They do a nachos burger that was so damn good, A salmon burger with a real fillet of salmon and this awesome garlic and dill mayo, they do a (real) flame grilled chicken breast burger with a semi-burnt bun, lettuce, avocado, and chilli marinated onions, and their beef burger is awesome too.
For every burger you can stack it up with really good stuff too, 3-4 different cheeses available...good ones, not plastic shit...marinated eggplant, char grilled capsicum, artichoke hearts, alfalfa sprouts, avocado, butter AND coral lettuce...so much more....That, and they make about 10 different sauces on site...haven't tried 'em ALL, but what I have tried, is great. They make burgers how I make burgers, and that's all good.

Sliders

Small steam grilled burgers that are one or two bites. Some people love it and some hate it but I don't know many tweeners'. Come to Michigan, find a White Castle (tons around the greater Detroit area), and buy a Crave Case.

1beastieibe 02-26-2007 05:12 PM

Teriyaki Chicken Burger from Red Robin:p and a plain hamburger from Frisko Freeze, I'm pretty sure there is only 1 Frisko Freeze here in Seattle which is a shame because they are amazing! I'm talking you almost wanna eat the wrapper amazing.

We don't have White Castle but I ate there once when I was in Missouri, and it was disgusting, but you can buy the burgers frozen here at pretty much every Grocery Store.
