Dolls

I watched this movie awhile back and was going to make a thread on it but never did. I really enjoyed this movie. I personally thought it was better than the Child's Play movies released a year after this. Did anyone else enjoy this movie?

The main reason I even picked it up was because my stupid uncle was scared shitless by this one, and I wanted to see why. I really didn't find it all that scary, but it was a fun film.

Dolls is a pretty good Stuart Gordon flick, but I like "Child's Play" better.

I havent seen Dolls *adds to list* I do enjoy Childs Play however. Did you see the tread about dead silence? Trailer looks interesting.

Your uncle is a wussy.

Paul le Mat was in Puppet Master.

We watched Dolls again last night (well, it was the first time Dustin and Alex have seen it)...I love Stuart Gordon :)

Yes and he was scared of Puppet Master as well.

He hates dolls, puppets and clowns. :D

What did they think of it?

Dude Guadalupe 02-11-2007 06:54 AM

I thought it was great, I had some good laughs as well.

VampiricClown 02-11-2007 08:02 AM

That's awesome!

Yeah, it was a bit more comical than scary I would say.

Alex said it was awesome...Which is something, because he's pretty critical of most movies

Elvis_Christ 02-11-2007 02:31 PM

I had a copy of this that's now gone missing :(

I like the Child's Play and Puppet Master flicks better.

Anyone seen Dolly Dearest? I never checked it out when it came out and haven't run into a copy since.

I saw him directing his newest movie:D

Drove by the set (it was shot here in my hometown), and there he was...so we drove by again:p. Didnt get out to meet him or anything, but it was cool to see him at work.

I also know one of the prominent stand-ins in the movie...I was in a play with him while he was working on the movie, and ow Im in a theatre class that he's teaching.

Dolls actually came out before Child's Play!

Stuart Gordon currently writes a blog for the Full Moon website (dealing with his films, celebs he's dealt with, etc.). Here's the link:

Hey Elvis, good to talk to you again.
I also enjoyed Stuck, very underappreciated film.

Anyway, what's going on in this dumb old horror hut? I haven't been around much lately because I've been really busy posting pictures of poop and middle fingers around some 7th Heaven forums. Unfortunately, no one really talks about that show anymore, so my work has gone mostly unnoticed. Oh well.

Dolls sucks! Hahahaha

H0RR0R 12-10-2011 09:02 AM

i seen it a while back it was pretty good ..but tbh i LOVE horror movies that involve dolls
