My real answer is inappropriate, so i would have to go with drugged in my sleep. Fade away, never knwoing a thing.

I want to know it and see it coming. I want to experience the whole of it, we only get one death right? I'd hate to have it pass me by without being aware of it. Falling would be a good way to go. Just enough time to know what's coming, but not enough warning to make you stress out beforehand.

I would want something big messy that would ruin someone's day, maybe like falling off of a really tall building and landing on a city bus or something.

I'd want to not have a seizure or something publicly humiliating or traumatising to others...I guess I just don't want that much attention...
I'd want to have said all I had to say to those around me, and made sure everything was as "right" as it could be.
Yeah, I think I'd like to go in my sleep, either heavily medicated and/or under sedation, perhaps some music that I like playing through the "event".

I would actually like to be lulled by classical music, while watching fields of sunflowers on a panoramic screen.. before being processed into a food alternative to end world hunger.

Because odds are it will hurt, and i have been to the emergency room enough times in my life to be well aquainted with pain. i'll pass.

I can see your point, but I'm willing to go through the pain if I can cause some serious trauma on my way out.

How's this, sky dive over an area where you know there is an elemetary school, navigate your way until you are directly above the palyground. Time it so that you are falling during recess, then unbuckle about 400 feet up.


You may even take out a kid or two in the process.

A shotgun blast to the head hurts... really really bad. The whole process isn't as fast as you think. Your brain still has time to register each bit of destruction. Forensic pathology and neurology have proven this to be so.

Besides, there's that chance that you don't die. It's happened. The end result is that your mentally and physically disabled... Oh and in a hospital where you'll linger to die a natural death.

I invite you to research this, provided that you use actual medical research.

Me... I'd like to be left on the most comfortable outcrop on a beach in in western Ireland, with only a few people. I would like some Witches there, just because natural death is such a big part of our spirituality.

I guess we wouldnt acctually know unless it happened. I think I would probably prefere to die of natural causes but I want to be quite old I have a lot to do lol.

Well going on the immortal words of one of my best friends I'd probably have to "keep it sexy" because no matter what you're doing, running a marathon or having heart surgery that was always her advice. Even in situations where everyone would deem it impossible, if you don't try then you don't have an excuse.

Which to me leaves very few options:

One would be a suicide jump, landed perfectly. However, it can also be pretty unflattering if you don't land it right. I think it's mostly up to luck anyway, I don't like leaving things up to luck.

I'd have to go with hanging probably. I wouldn't eat for a day before and I would barely eat the day before that, I'd get really drunk the night before so I'm vomiting whatever is left. I'll be hungover and dehydrated for the actual hanging. Leave myself a good hour or two to get ready, maybe more since it's pretty important. Yup, I'd make her proud.

I think leaving a good looking corpse is important if you are going to choose your death. I'm not totally sure how long I want to live... Some days, I kinda want to live as long as I can. When I think hard about it though, the idea of dying when you're really old and nobody cares is something that I don't like to think about. Like if you're 83 or something.... uggg don't want to think about it. You get to the point where people think of your death as a blessing instead of a tragedy, I guess you're not supposed to want loved ones to be sad.

It's also all but guaranteed I won't be able to walk (disease) and that I'll have intense arthritis (inherited) when I'm older.

well, someone said drowning. Trust me, it isnt nice. I go scuba diving and once my buddy went off and left me. We were in a pitch black wreck and as i went to try and find him i realized i couldnt move. I was tangled in about 50 yards of fishing wire. Well, i panicked and my reg came out of my mouth. It then fell into the wire and got tangled. I was writhing without air, my octopus (spare reg) wason free flow so i couldnt use. all i remember is seeing a large pike swim into my torch beam then laying dow.

Fortunately, another diver who had gone into the water a few minutes after us was following that pike and saw me. I vagely remember being ressusitated by my uncle and then being in hospital. My "buddy" who had left me hasnt spoken to me since but he did send me some free diving stuff.

In conclusion, drowning isn't very nice, i've experienced it.

yeah, drowning definitely wouldn't be a nice way to die.

Also it leaves you with a very bloated corpse.
