I spent this morning fuming and arguing with people and feeling pretty shitty. Amazing how one phone call can turn everything around:)

And now your puffiness... I'm happy as Larry

I wonder who Larry was?

What made him so happy?

Huh?

Elvis_Christ 01-31-2007 09:17 PM

No Dave you're wrong.

http://www.tursa.franken.de/pics/roll_happylarry3a.jpg

It's all about the beats in your head man :D

Roderick Usher 01-31-2007 10:43 PM

Larry was Larry Foley, an Australian heavyweight boxing champ who retired undefeated with more than 30 title defences nuder his belt and a record setting purse in the 1870s of 1,000 Pounds.

somehow he got referenced in a poem or something and it fell into the popular lexicon, and I've always loved it

Happy as Larry - It sounds so patently absurd as to instil happiness in the one who hears or reads it.
