Is there anything I can do to cure a hangover?
My god I am suffering right now. You would think that sleeping until 2:30 PM would help, but it didn't. I did quite a bit of drinking last night. I started with Vodka tonics, moved on to beer, moved on to shots of vodka and then moved on to wine. What can I do to make myself feel better? Please give me some tips if anyone has them! (and please don't reply with "don't drink anymore").

Oh my god. I almost made a thread about the fabulous hangover cure. Midol dude midol. Do not be afraid to take it. Do not even be afraid to go to the store & buy some just for this purpose. Hangover will be gone within 30 minutes or less. & drink water.

I can't even think about drinking more alcohol today.
Also, if I'm correct, I believe that midol is just ibuprofen and caffeine. Ibuprofen is a bit harsh on my stomach and can actually cause stomach bleeding and ulcers when taken in conjunction with alcohol. |
eat and drink lots of water to soak up the alcohol that has replaced your blood...lol

Actually, the best hangover cure should be taken before you pass out. Take some Advil and a multi vitamin. You should wake up feeling ok.
As far as now, the only thing I can tell you is take some Advil and choke down another drink. Usually if you wake up hungover, a drink or two will allow you to pass right back out. If you can't pass out, you're gonna have to eat something heavy and have some caffeine. |
Try some scrambled eggs, the protien in them helps. Some toast too, nice and mild. Don't eat too much of either, just enough to get something in your tummy. And water, alcohol will dehydrate you. Water will not only re-hydrate, but will help flush the toxins out of your body. Then go back to bed. Chicken noodle soup also always helps me, no matter what I feel shitty from.
