My new little dude.
 

i was driving with my friend and i had $20 burning a hole in my pocket. we drove by a pet store, and i told him to stop by there. well, i bought me a little feeder mouse. hes a cute little guy, and i need help naming him. any suggestions? i named him Bob at first, but idk if i like that.

What´s the point naming him?

I mean, sooner or later you gonna feed him to your snake, aren´t ya? ;) :p

Is he a cute frendly litta mouse?

i dont have a snake, no. i saved him from that terrible pending death that awaited him.

hes just starting to adjust to his new home. little bastard keeps shitting in his water.:)

I used to have a little rat i just called "lil rat" he was so cool, he wouldn't bite or try to run away, he would just chill on my shoulder and eat nuts or raisins. He was cool. I miss him :( Most rodents arent very fun.

Rats rule. We had mice, and we loved them,but they were mostly just messy, inattentive little creatures (but cute as hell)

The rats were our babies, ripley and pippin. they both developed tumors around the same time this past year and had to be put down. it is probably the biggest loss i have felt in years.

Awwww nice. I had 2 pet rats Mery and Pippin lol. What about Billybob lol its a wee bit more interesting than Bob.

hes a stinky little dude. everytime i handle him i smell like him for the rest of the day.

Next time you feel the urge to get a pet rodent, i would definately go for a rat or two. believe it or not, they smell better and are much cleaner than mice.

I do get the mouse thing though. i loved the ones we had. used to love bathing them and seeing how tiny they REALLY are.

if what you are referring to is "Richard gere Approved" then no, and he will never smell any better if you do that.

That being said, mice live in sewers, i dont think lack of light will be too big an issue.

I loooove Gigantor. When I was really small, I mean really realy really small, I would actually try to get up early in the morning to watch it (Gigantor was on at 7 in the morning I think, and this was on our old black and white tv). 7 in the morning was early then. It's still early now. But yeah I loved that robot and I would make little cardboard cutout figures of him. This was the first thing I can remember that I liked enough to want to change my morning routine so that i could watch it. Kids love robots!

my room smells SO friggin bad. why does he have to smell so bad? i gave him a bath too. still smells like shit.

use this stuff, you can find it in most pet stores. It is made from recycled paper, and not only is it healthier for pets (no chemicals) it also absorbs more than pretty much anything else. We use it for our rabbit, and used it for our mice and rats before.
