Well This is just another thread

But for some reason I need to put this. I been workin hard during the last 3 months. I found my place in a small legal firm as a criminal lawyer, so sometimes I saw things that makes me think that the howl world it's going insane, and what it's worst, there's no way to stop it. I think that sometimes I thougt this just cause I work too much (from 10 to 22 or 23, fuckin late at nite)But other moments I have the extrange feelin that most of the problems that ends in a crime, have this stupid ending just for a problem of communication. I mean in a world where a spanish nerd with a low level of english could share his ideas with people of other places (umm yea I'm talkin about me) we still have the problem that we could not understand the people that we have just at our sides, and for that reason we hate them. We dont take anytime to see the things in the same way that they do.....anyway it's late (here in Barcelona 3'34) maybe I feel better tomorrow

Jacob Singer, I've sort of been here for a couple years. Remember seeing your name often. Can't recall anything you posted, but I'll remeber this. My whole life I've loved spanish, but I completely suck at speaking spanish. (even after a year of spanish class in high school) If I went to any spanish speaking place all I could ask for is the time, food, bathroom, & sex. Spanish is just confusing conjugating, masculine, feminine, & the switch in words for some1 to really understand. Well you know what I'm talking about. Your english is much better than my spanish. Just wanted to say hola coma estas?

Hi! I'm fine thanks, or estoy bien gracias. Otherwise, I allways think that spanish is much more complicated than english. My usual problem with english is that I put letters where there's no necesary ( or dont put it where is necesary like sumer  ). If you still have that interest in learning spanish try to came here to study it, a lot of people from UK, USA and other places like Japan came here and they learn without any problems. In places like Marbella Barcelona or Ibiza search people from this places because their first way of living it's tourism and ... well who knows more english than a english man or woman?

Well, cause i'm in contact with diferent people all the time (for my lovely job) I start to realised that it's much better to be kind to make the things work in the right way, maybe a lot of this people will never talk to me again but it doesnt mean that I could be rude with them, cause this will become a great problem.

Otherwise, I know that not every single american or english talk pertty well their own lenguage but belive me if I told you that they talk much better that a spanish form sevilla (English with a strong adaluz accent would become something very strange)

dewaholic, sorry but I don't have yahoo instant messenger, anyway I can't use that kind of programs cause my pc home it's "out of service" (now I'm possting from my Job)

Somebody can tell me what the fuck means "moma funkulo"?

It's italian.

Yes I know.

Well, when I started to learn english I never realy care about how to pronounced it but during this years when I kept studing it, every time that went to private lessons I found that my teacher was english or had spent several years on ENgland learning that lenguage, so they insist on the pronunciation .... so I must sound like a drunken Lord from UK:eek:

Disease 02-01-2007 02:12 AM

maybe you do? Ask a pom , they might know.

stubbornforgey 02-01-2007 02:41 AM

I find this incredible..
over here in NZ we have many pakistani english teachers..who of course
speak with an accent...so..when thier students leave thier classes..they sound just like them...same as myself..i never realised it untill it was pointed out that
i too speak with an accent. 'shrug' and yet english is my 1st language.

Jacob Singer 02-01-2007 03:11 AM

Well maybe in some strange way we are helpping to inovate the english lenguage ... or making it more "exotical". That might be another simptom of the globalization phenomenum.
