Good to see you like The Burning most people haven't heard of it. It grabbed me by suprise and was much better than I expected really slick/gorey and had a few geniune scares.

Halloween, of course. Also, Tourist Trap, Sleepaway Camp, When a Stranger Calls, and a few others.

The first Nightmare on Elm St, most especially because of the scene where Tina buys it....she's on the ceiling and blood is everywhere.

I think the true slasher is "Texas Chainsaw Masacre."
